Seeking Investment for a Cryptocurrency Exchange Project

Hi everyone,
I am from Barter Trade. Barter Trade is a Digital Assets exchange platform and much more.
We have been into Cryptocurrency since 2014 and have been working in and around the crypto space since then.

We have been working on a crypto currency exchange since 2018 with a dedication to build a platform that is unique but more importantly has all the advanced tools and features which makes trading easy and fun for a trader. We have invested nearly about 400k in building our cryptocurrency exchange. Right before the fall of Bitcoin in mid 2018 our product was ready to be launched in the market. Now it's been more than a year since we have been looking for investors/partners to launch our exchange but the Bear market made it really hard for us to get any investment or maybe we weren’t looking in the right direction. We have attended a number of cryptocurrency events around the globe in the hope to connect with some investors but it was to no avail.

We have lost a lot of money in the process, I'd say mainly due to lack of knowledge about a few things related to marketing and fund raise and also by not being able to penetrate the market at the right time. People at that time were doing ICO without making any product and scamming people of 100’s of million which hurt us and like everyone we also got scammed in some ICO’s as well. Hence, we decided to build the product and make it launch ready before planning or even thinking about doing ICO. This was an ethically sound move but logically, it was a dumb move.

Now we are stuck in this shitty place with a product on hand, a lot of investment from the pocket and a platform which is 1000 times better than the most out there but we don’t have the resources to launch it into the market.

Now, we are here looking for someone who is interested in this type of project or has plans to work on a similar project. Someone, who can help us bring this product into the market. Our product is 100% launch ready. We are willing to offer Equity/Partner or whatever it takes to launch our product. If someone can guide us in the right direction then please do contact me and i will share more details regarding the project, arrange demo etc.

So you spent 400k building your exchange but now you need investment to launch it?

Also the fact you said you lost a lot of money dose not bode well if your asking for people to put money into a project.

I have also never heard of your exchange ever and I have been around a long time in the bitcoin space and can't say I have every heard of your exchange.

My advice would be produce a working product to show investors no one is going to invest in a 1 post wonder with a new account on the forum there are too many scams out there and at the moment your post is very much in line with the 100's of other post's asking for investment to create an exchange.

You should have a valid product that you can demo or no one will be interested also I think the fact you said you spent 400k building the exchange yet you have no liquidity to run it is also a red flag for many.

This is because we weren't looking for investments online rather we were visiting blockchain events showcasing our product to investors. Also in case you haven't read i have written at the end that we will show demo and everything to the interested investors. Our project is 100% complete and tested and ready to launch. The investment we did was on complete development, testing and audit of the project, unlike others who were doing ICOs to gather investment just on the idea of building a product.

How much still funds you do need? What would be the things to be developed still for you to seek out more funding?

You can do a kickstarter campaign if you need funds in my opinion, you said that the product is complete but you should link us a demo or a pitch, so we could see if there is a potential or nah.
Is there any insurance that this is not a scam beside the fact that you can sympathize with the victims? I do not appeal to much with emotions when it comes to business.
What exactly is different with your exchange that seperates you from other exhange?
Is the exchange ready for mobile platform? You know that you can target more demographic when you have that box checked.
Is your UI good? Is the UX engaging?

i can't find your name between the team members, yet you represent the project, can i ask in which role? also the website is running, how much funds is needed and for what, what will you offer in return? is there a registred company that own the whole project? are you offering a stake in the company or just some tokens?

Everything will be discussed in detail with project team if you are interested. Company is registered in Estonia. We are offering stake in the company.

You really shouldn't worry about that. You will not be dealing with me through telegram or anything. everything will be official if you decide to take part in the company. Telegram or any chat medium is just to discuss if we can come to an agreement. Everything will be fully transparent. Meetings will be held in person and everything will be documented according to laws.

The Demo is listed at Exchange.bartertrade.io. Incase this does not direct you, you can visit http://bartertrade.io/ and click on the exchange. Do note that the platform is currently installed on a very low end server just for demo purposes. You can switch between day and light theme browse through the platform. In case you want to login, you can register as it is turned off but you can login with admin account. if you are interested in that i can send you the credentials for that. The spot features are ready but as we have continued to work on improving the platform despite being unable to get funding, we have included a lot more features which are under development. those features include Social Trading, Algo trading, battle grounds, Marketplace. You can read about them in our whitepaper. Once you go through our whitepaper which is listed at www.bartertrade.io/#documents you will have some sort of idea how we differentiate ourselves from others. There is never a guarantee for anyone to stay at top be it any business. in 2017 Bittrex was top, than binance took over, Kucoin was in the line as well but they didnt concentrated on the need of users and elevating there products. FTX is making a name for itself now despite being so much noise. it all comes down to the need of users and provide users with what they would want in terms of quality of products, easy of use etc. We believe that we can penetrate the space and make a name for ourselves. We will start that by capturing the UAE market along with targeted marketing in the parts of Europe as we have a stronghold in these markets in terms of knowledge of users and their sentiments.

As of today, we are trying our luck with the IEO with that being the only option left while we continue to approach Seed investors, VC's, Individual investors and related people.
