Take Neebs Gaming channel as an inspiration.
When they just made cartoons and art, they had 10k subscribers.
Now the only do gaming, and they have 2m+ subscribers

Stick to a single style in your videos and have consistency is what I'd say helps promote you and your brand as an image.

It depends on the niche and content you want to make. If your target viewers are gamers, then content with the gamers. If most about educational materials, then keep doing that.

Focus on the niche for the 1 content and topic to make and what you like too.

If you want to have a lot of subscribers, it is advisable that you be a girl with a sweet smile, but if suddenly you are not a girl with a sweet smile, then you can try to do something useful. If you have your own ideas about the world, if you have an analytical mindset, then you can share it with others.

I cannot even reach 100 subs as you already did. Usually people want to see fun things that can make them laugh. Just think that you are watching youtube in your free time for example. Mostly, upload content that you love this is going to keep you trying.

I think youtube era is slowly coming to an end and it is becoming more likely a place for big production houses, media groups, celebrities and influencers. For new people, unfortunately there is not much encouragement rather they will make life difficult for newbies.

There are lot's of things you can do during lockdown period. You should post interesting contents on youtube and grow engagement. You can post content related to current crisis situation and show public opinion about how to remain safe in the pandemic situation. Internet has no lockdown period. I think people are tired of the bad news. People want to watch something good. Therefore, you can make good or funny videos, something that will be in a positive way.
