10k$ Bitcoin is Very much possible for now!

it looks like a lot of day-trader-fingers were on the proverbial big red sell button as soon as price hit $10k, they didn't even let the price go higher before they press it. it is interesting to note that there is a big momentum still in the market even though the panic is also there and is going against it.

That's just day traders playing with their toy (keeping the market active and making it interesting to followed lol). The take profits bots are those keeping the price below that $10k zone. Without much research that price will be the perfect take profit target of most traders. We're just three days from halving and three days is enough time for anything to happen in the industry. It might take bitcoin more 24hrs to cross $10k trading price but in matter of minutes exceed $11k.

The breaking of the resistance level at ~$9,4k yesterday was something won't celebrating and it almost looked like bitcoin will continue with the momentum to cross the $10k trading price although that didn't happen but we just have to keep believing though.

Its hit this area and found resistance imo, I will post the chart for context.    I'm 50/50 on whether its reasonable to risk a short from here and scrape out a quick trade on profit taking from this level.  Its uncertain as we approach halvening.



First target for my view is about 9400 as seen its the weekly moving average and the border line for positive action or phase to price by my reckoning and observations over years.  ie. we are quite positive pulling back to 9400

Once again I'm surprised by bitcoin's behavior--and yeah, I do think $10k is possible in the next couple of months.  It might happen toward the end of 2020, but I'm fairly confident it'll be this year.

I spent some time without controlling the price because I thought it would be stagnant at $6000, I didn't imagine that I would see a big pump before halving, the price has already touched $10,000 and probably in the next few weeks we will see the dump

There will NOT be a big dump, too many people getting interested, too much organic growth right now. Biggest dump will be $700

$9803-$9832 in most exchanges right now which is the highest price for a quite long period. Breaking $10k barrier will likely happen in few hours but the most important thing is sustainability! Price has to stay above $10k and not crash once traders decide it is time to celebrate and sell!! Halving is close and things seems promising 

Yeah it already does but sustainability ?seems too far from it because the price volatility is taking the market for long now and we cannot even stay longer in 5 digits value.

I know that Bitcoin is going to be around more than that price but the situation now?it is being harder to attain as there is a bad economic problem going on but hopefully this will end soon and market will start greening again.

well, we'll see that in the next 4 weeks

if any dump comes, big or small, it will be these days and most probably will be like previous times meaning it would happen before the halving itself to have a calm market after it for a week or two. which means in next 4 weeks which would be all the time after the halving we will start seeing the accumulation after that dump and the follow up rise.
in any case i don't see a big dump happening either because price has not yet recovered completely from the previous one. we are still about $2000 below the pre-dump price.

I still can't believe that bitcoin increased so much so quickly. That is why I think people who are talking about support levels and resistance levels are just kidding themselves and not others, that is literally the whole thing about bitcoin.

There was a pandemic economical crisis all over the world, price was 9k and dropped as low as 3.6k and that is really hurt people as well but it recovered, there was also price at anywhere between 5k to 8k and now it peaked over 10k. That is literally the yearly high as well, we were around here at the best and we are back here. It is really a very great thing that bitcoin could increase this quickly, I don't care about the drops because they recover anyway. I see 15k happening soon this year as well, not maybe right away but I am sure it will happen.

It is true that if we guess the numbers it will be more difficult even though the rally has occurred in a few days but it is not possible to soar high and therefore speculate without analysis will not make it better but only guess what we will say.
But the movement of bitcoin will be good enough if you trust more to hold more, it will be more profitable in the future, and the highest level will be reached this year, sure many are positive now as long as they are not consumed by FUD news.

A bigger picture would be the price of Bitcoin in moment of halving! Bitcoin entered in new 4 years period with a 6.25 BTC reward for every block with a higher price than every halving before. Now we can wait for halving to do its thing and in time lower supply will have effects on the price. The majority here knew that we can't expect some miracles right after halving, but in the long term, we are waiting for Bitcoin to make new ATH.

Absolutely right mate. We're not losing hope, $10k isn't really at far. But we can't expect the market to turn into bullish by then this year and until the crisis will never slow down.

What I saw with the market today, the potentiality remains but that resistance isn't building strong but it slightly weakens amid with the pandemic. But I was thinking that this will be over next year and that possible we saw a huge pump again.

Not far from reality as there's still presence of people who are engaged supporting this industry, we can expect that after this halving there are investment that will comes up and begin to bring the value much higher. There's no exact time for the market to surpassed 5 digits again but looking forward to see that the sentiments will be change to bull after this halving.

for some reason today, on the 14th of May, the price has increased by 6% and is now at $9700 and has reached the $9939 level. now comes the great difficulty: exceeding $10,000 and staying above $ 10,000 for months.
