Many people are making such speculation and prediction that its market price will be this "high" in the future. Just think of how many people made the same prediction way back three years ago when the market price of not only BTC but most of the cryptos are breaking 'barriers'. Many people assumed that it would continue but what happened next is the total opposite. A year passed by and people were expecting for a 'come back' but nothing happened. The bottomline is that, predictions are just opinions covered by some subjective basis which are not having assurance. No matter how we make a 'pattern' to which year its price would go up, volatility is in nature, and that should be enough that we cannot be certain especially if we would be futuristic.

Prediction, analysis can be done by many Bitcoin experts like in 2020, what I can do is to invest as best I can from now on, there is no need for me to have to wait in 2025, at this time if you understand the meaning of trading you definitely enjoy it with a little profit but surely, take what is there, don't wait for the uncertainty.

To be honest I'm not getting what you're saying exactly but what I think you're saying is that you think BTC will/could reach 100K within 5 years. I have to say that this is all speculative and no one knows for sure if that will be the case. It may be higher or lower than 100K, we just can't yet tell but we can indeed hope/speculate and new crypto investors need to be aware that these are only speculations.

Completely agree with you,,,crypto community have already got enough sweet & sour experience in the past and everyday we are getting new experience from bitcoin price related prediction. If anyone ask me about bitcoin's future i always love to reply with this word "unpredictable". Honestly there is massive amount of people who love to use bitcoin for its super fast and untraceable transaction system. I am not different from them and have same positive thinking about its future and growth. I think its better to flow with bitcoin's wave rather than wasting time by thinking price drop chances or something over ambitious.

From the beginning bitcoin faced lots of obstacles but everytime it shows its power to global economy. More or less bitcoin holders were in big dilemma due to cross prediction of its price in the past but whenever it recovered everytime people found their trust on it.

I will not so wonder if bitcoin hit 30k or dip to 2k in this year because everything is part of the game. Price predictions just works as a encouragement for its community where it can be true sometime or not. All we know that investors and holders play the key role for its price bump and dump. So we can say that all its price growth and dip depends on its community actions rather than useless predictions. Yeah sometime bitcoin price prediction can influence new crytpo users to hold some on their wallet but surely experienced guys will not follow the way. All i can say that sooner or later crypto will be a part and parcel of our daily life. Lets see when it comes .

5 years is a long way and there is multidimensional factor on which the bitcoin price will depend on.
A lot of people said earlier that the 2017 bitcoin price was a bubble, several time people have declared bitcoin as dead, governments imposed different kind of ban at different time. But people keep trusting it and more and more people are continuously getting interested in it. Now bitcoin is an important part of global economy that no one can ignore. If the support of the people continues like that then it is very much possible.

So far there is 5 years yet to reach on 2025 and it's quite impossible to predict about bitcoin before 5 years. But to be honest prediction about $100K seems to me unrealistic in my opinion although everything is possible in crypto. If we go back 3 years then we might noticed all time high of bitcoin price. But seems after 3 years till now btc become fail to touch again it's all time high. So expectation about $100K look like dream to me. I don't know from where you have got this prediction but from the last couple of years such as prediction become false. So be careful from such as predictors and do your own technical analysis.

After 5 years, we'll have another halving on the 4th year (2024) and let us first see the halving effect for this year and then get into the prediction that it can reach at any higher price that we're all longing to see.

You named the price on $100,000 and that's one of the price that I'm dreaming of. Bitcoin is still bitcoin, more of speculation but it's getting more on the fundamentals and adoption rate is increasing, I'm optimistic for $100,000 but too far to think of that while we're still on 2020.

mk4 is right! in the end, everything you said is just speculation and has no concrete evidence to support your claim. and almost everyone here will say the same thing. its good to be optimistic but being too optimistic about the price of bitcoin will just give you false hope and will leave you disappointed in the end.

Whose prediction is that? You or an expert?
AFAIK, no guarantee for the price improvement on Bitcoin. Everyone can predict or guess it, but the result is always unpredictable.
You must know that even if it will take 5 years, it doesn't mean Bitcoin must have improved its value significantly. In my view, the time duration is not always correlated with price development. You must consider various factors to speculate on how the price will be after 5 years.

There is always speculative talks from some so called expert but the simple truth about the said bitcoin is, most of these talks don't always end with bitcoin price. Bitcoin is different from all other markets because it has proven that several times from inception. What I love about these guys are: they are not always sure of the next move from bitcoin, they always guess everything about bitcoin, they ate not tire of speculating. Nothing is impossible with bitcoin when it comes to the price, it is the people that decides the price coz the decentralization is making it happen. But to be honest $100K is unrealistic, as we all know most of us are using bitcoin as an investment, if it reaches at least $30K we will going to see it going back down. We are not even sure if this year's halving will give us a good result like what we have seen in the past 2 halving.
Speculation is the core of the bitcoin price, we did not expect the ATH so we must think of its price near to that range.

It depends yet no man would able to know on what would happen in future years to come.We can presume but we should at least be realistic into those numbers.

100k for a matter of 5 years time? plausible but too far to consider.We would need global adoption for that one and hopefully we would able to reach out that state
but lets not on a hurry since 10 years of its existence is still early imho.

Its a matter of choice if you do tend to risk on buying it for future or do miss out the chances.

$1 million is on the table, and that's not even accounting for hyperinflation. I agree with Raoul Pal about that, even if we have differing opinions on shorter term price action.

Umm Bitcoin can certainly reach 100k without any out of the ordinary inflation in the next 5 years. If even a little bit of hyperinflation occurred in the next 5 years Bitcoin would be more like $1 million. Real hyperinflation would be more like causing a price of $100 million for Bitcoin. Hyperinflation is when a currency gets so devalued it basically becomes worthless.


$100k by 2025 with just the rest of the world going on as normal is highly likely. I think there's a good chance it peaks at or above 100k in the next 2 or 3 years on the current market cycle, but in 2025 yeah I would say a normal price of 50k-100k is likely, the way 7k-10k feels like a normal price this past year.
