Lately here I have seen some thread where the op is trying to get help on their questionnaire about blockchain projects. This also is showing that blockchain technology is gradually going into the school system. The importance is growing and soon it will become a global practice as the blockchain field is getting more attention.

Adoption is on the move thats why it isnt surprising that it would reach out education sector.Blockchain tech is something that cant really be ignored, we know on how this innovation can changed up everything in terms of accessibility, transparency and there are already several schools that do add up blockchain into their curriculum: https://www.pymnts.com/news/2017/universities-adding-blockchain-to-the-curriculum/ When you do ask if this one is a good career then i would definitely say 'Yes'.

Exactly, blockchain has proven its great opportunities to many people in this world. This kind of technology is now being very popular, used for various sectors, not only limited in relation to the financial system only. The term of blockchains has offered many ways for earning new income and will lead to be a promising career. How can? Because this technology allows the ways to make money from various income:
1. Companies using blockchain technology ideas with many positions needed.

I don't think so! Blockchain can be a career for a very few percents of people who are too expert at it but otherwise, it's no! Just look at your side, how many people you see choose blockchain as a career? Almost 70% of the crypto project won't last for 5 years, then what will you do after 5 years? What if bitcoin price goes under 2K USD? you can't ignore this possibility! I suggest do a job, take crypto as a part-time earning method!

If I amn't wrong you have to know C++, Python, Java and other programming languages to start your career as a blockchain developer, right? So if a person knows C++ well, he/she will get a high paying job in any way.
Btw I haven't heard if anyone works in gov job because of blockchain cause as far as I know governments hire blockchain developer companies. For example Georgia hired Bitfury to further develop and integrate blockchain technologies in services like land title registry and etc where there is a need of extra layer of protection on stored data.

Those developers, most of them, have their own career even without being employed as they can work as freelancers. That is the beauty of blockchain technology. They can develop their own projects even at the comfort of their homes. But it still depends on the developer, his strategies on how to make his project successful.

Actually, every career is worth having, it will all depend on your wants and passion. There are some careers that are not interesting for someone but really appreciated for some other people, so it only means that everything will be worth it depending on the perception of the people. If you are interested in cryptocurrency and you see really great about technology then I can say also that blockchain is really great for you, having a career related to the technology will be more worth it, especially in the future because we are now at the 21st century where in technology becomes more known and well used by many people.

Yes, it is a good career for it promises us of good salary package compare to other jobs that may only give us enough for our daily necessities. However, in every career, we take we need to know if this is what we really want for we need to have passion for our job so we may excel in it. Another might reason is the salary is really enticing but we may not last long in this career if we will not learn how to love the blockchain, IMO.

I can see that Blockchain is a skill in high demand, but I can't see this data about only 50% of jobs being covered due to the lack of specialists. Blockchain is certainly a good choice due to the combination of high demand with low awareness of this demand. As a school teacher I know that the majority of pupils choose typical careers of lawyers, economists and doctors, having no idea that the world that awaits them might need good doctors but is already full of lawyers and economists. A problem with Blockchain is that, new as it is, it's not something you can learn by choosing a relevant university degree, so many try to choose from what there is to study officially. In any case, I think what's a good career depends largely on personal aspirations. One should choose what one loves, and then look for ways to incorporate this activity into something that can bring money, not the other way around.

I have also saw in other thread here about the Compensation of Blockchain employee and it says too Huge for a single person.
Because they are offering this for those people that dedicates their life in developing and technologies.

So about OP?yeah if you are qualified and fit then surely you are entitled for this career though i know that this is for limited people only as the company who hires are not that in demand as of now.

Building a career in a blockchain is one among the simplest decisions you'll make at the present . Blockchain technology is shaping the industries to form it more efficient and trustworthy. Because the technology is new, there aren’t much-skilled personnel around to develop the solutions.

Indeed blockchain technology is career that is becoming popular and lucrative while experts in that skill are highly sought after however my belief is that the programming aspect of it is much difficult ie requires deep knowledge in programming languages like C++, JavaScript, python etc mastering those languages is a must to become an expert.

As blockchain is getting enough development lately, there are still time for everyone to study and know it coz in the future there will be more youngsters who can easily learn and adapt it. Career now in blockchain is good at the moment, I've been seeing a lot of companies related to blockchain opening that creates various job physically and virtually. I know in China there are already booming blockchain industry that is offering several jobs like Software engineer, developer and Marketing manager which is really in demand in this kind of industry.

In today's era, computer students should learn some basic ideas of blockchain to expand their knowledge about this ongoing trend. If they plan to pursue their studies, they can go to some universities that teaching some courses about blockchain technologies. They could get some online courses if they don't find schools near their place. I see some future plans of Saudi Arabia about what they are planning to invest in the future and one of them is the AI, this is a blockchain related technology, you can get hired to further study it along with some other blockchain stuffs.
