Apparently you didn't read the whitepaper intro.    Its openly states this.

Wondering if there will be any bounties?

As there is no premine, there won't be any upfront.   However I will be creating proposals for bounties when the community fund starts

Watch out possible Scam

Apparently you didn't read the whitepaper intro.

Dont worry i have readed it and here is picture copy from your whitepaper !

This is no Intro !!!!!!  your project has plagiarized thats fact !

Pyrk-Whitepaper

Source : https://pyrk.org/Pyrk-Whitepaper.pdf

dash-whitepaper

Source : https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/58595960/dash-whitepaper-with-cover/4

Im not trusting someone that copy and paste from others and thats what you have done !
But feel free to discuss that in the Scam Accusations Thread !
Guess if i look more into your project i will find more things that are plagiarized.

Read more about here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5247137.0

Great..  I'm happy you 'readed' it.

So anyways guys, I've updated the 'whitepaper', with even bigger and bolder text at the top stating where the information came from.

This coin has no new features to mention.   It's just a combination of features from two different cryptocurrencies that I feel make a good individual currency with a blocktime and reward that I feel works well.

If you also feel this is a good set of features and settings, then mine it and become part of the community.

If you don't, then don't.   It's as easy as that.

Useless, even you update your whitepaper with things that really cross your brain, people will still be wary of your project because once proven plagiarism so many people will stay away. yeah simple as that happened.

That's the problem here. He has negative trust and it will be hard for them to convince users about their sincere intentions.
Unless, their strategy will be the same with other MN coins. They will sell via discord though they said, they have no premine.
And upon checking their explorer, there is really no coin mined yet.
But their roadmap is very generic. Not a comprehensive one. Let's see who will support this project despite its inferior entrance.

I suppose i have my work cut out for me then.   I remember back in the day the only coin with a whitepaper was Bitcoin.

Feel free to check the code for anything hidden at launch.   There's no premine.    If I want any Pyrk, I'll have to mine them like anybody else.    You won't see me trying to sell any either

ps.  21 hours until launch

Your last coin, "Zyrk" (lol) was an utter failure.

this one looks like a fast scam  Undecided

discord deleted, all dev coins dumped

shit. I really had a good feelings about this coin.

Does anyone has working Zyrk discord?

This is the last comment from its ANN thread:

Guys did nobody think there might have been a reason this 'project' cloned 12 months of hard work from NIX Platform?

The clues were in the GitHub.

DYOR and if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

Hey Jeff, 99% of the coins these days are a "clone" of another coin, its called a fork.

These losers made an exact copy of NIX and removed the credits. You couldn't have waved a bigger red flag and people still bought into it.

Any reason you're not putting the codebase on your GitHub this time around?

I had nothing at all to do with Zyrk.   I got scammed holding a bag of those along with everybody else.

The reason it isn't showing on Github is because it hasn't launched yet.

ps.  We launch in 1 hour.

This is a common error on bitcoin clients that have built in miners.

For your virus concern, know that this is an issue with Anti-Virus programs detecting it as a virus. It's a false positive. Bitcoin and ALL other altcoins have the exact same thing.

Read here: https://github.com/bitcoin-dot-org/bitcoin.org/issues/1472

Extract "That's called a false positive. Many AV's flag Bitcoin Core and related software as a trojan because it looks for a wallet.dat file. This is what it is supposed to do as it is the creator of the wallet.dat file and uses it."

Yes, my McAfee antivirus put the file on quarantine, i had to restore it and then turn off real time scanning for 15 minutes and then installed without trouble.
Thank you for the explanation

Why did you pick a coin name so similar to that of a known scam?

It was a four letter domain name that rhymed with "Perk".   As in to receive perks.

I'm pretty sure a great deal of coin names originated just from typing random things into domain lookup to see whats available..

*ATTENTION! Many new launched coins contains Viruses and Malwares . Some wallets showing a false malware or virus flag because of the integrated miner. Nevertheless we strongly recommend you to scan the wallets before using it. Use as example https://www.virustotal.com/gui/ to scan the files for malicious ware*
