Will Bitcoin exceed 20k this year like in 2017?

Everything is very possible, although we are experiencing difficult times worldwide with the pandemic, we can have in our favor the Halving effect of Bitcoin, depending on how the market has been moving there is a good indication that things can improve as time passes.

Not this year. Way too early. I can be hopeful for it to peak at around $15k but that's it. Exceeding $20k doesn't seem quite plausible, especially since most people are hoarding their cash cause of the problems they have with their finances cause of the lack of jobs right now and lack of supplies as well. And also do note that if we were to try it to compare it, the peak that happened in 2017 was a year after the 2nd halving, which was in 2016. If we were just to compare the halvings based on history, then the peak of the halving should be brought about by the year 2021 instead of 2020.

I am sure there will be time for us to see bitcoin price will start rally like what we saw in 2017. But we still don't know if the price can hit $20k again in this year or next year because that will be too difficult to predict. We can only predict without knowing the real things that will happen to the bitcoin market. But we can try to buy bitcoin at a low price and sell at a high price although that will not be easy to find the right time to trade.

we would need another period of super hype that lasts at least 6 months for us to see a lot of common huge pumps like 500%. otherwise all we are going to see among shitcoins is the smaller pumps that could not even be sustained for long enough time to be considered a pump by altcoin standards.
and i don't think we can expect such periods for at least another year. it is time for bitcoin to rise and it would dump all the altcoins on its rise for now.

Actually we dont have any other options but to wait on how the market moves and lets hope that we wont go back to lower levels just like what happened when we dip down to 3k.
When in talks in future prices its always been a question since from the beginning.No one do even expect that from almost nothing value and able to hit up 20k in a short span of time or several years
of its existence which does mean that this do really had a big community support and to think that adoption is still on the move which means there still a big space for us to improve.

This time however is different, it will be an uphill battle for there are more players in crypto and there's covid19 as well. 20K will just be easy when the price breaks that $10K because it will just confirm that it is going right up there. Validation is just what it needs. But probably not this very early, people are still afraid to invest and spend the money because the future still is uncertain. Same here. Reaching that level will not be easy and we may not see that price this year, but maybe in the coming years. If btc will hit 10k-15k, then we can say we are heading to 20k of course. But that will take time and important happenings in crypto to take place first. We need to see the adoption is really growing, in terms of persons and merchants that will support its usage.
