I don't think so, if bitcoin remains to be holding at least 50% of the market dominance, I don't think altcoins has a chance to grow.
Maybe at 40% dominance, altcoins has a chance to grow and it will not be dependent anymore with bitcoin because in the last 2 years, it was all bitcoin dominance that we are seeing, that's why the market is so unstable.

It nice to know that you have good experience in crypto evaluation but i want you and others reading this to understand that the current attitude of crypto in the market cant be used to judge its future stance. Besides, almost all crypto is always bullish when doing trading competition but everything change after the competition end, investors/traders feel content with their profit and decide to sell. An example is BTT.
With that been said, some coin/token were among the #100 on the capital market in the year 2018 but not even among the top #200 now.

We should be prepared abount this current market conditions and put our buy and sell order. So righ time to buy altocoin.

Try to be more specific when investing. You cannot expect all altcoins at this time to keep growing. Some will, while others will wait for their time.

can your theory be used for current market conditions? bitcoin growth on ATH is still fairly far. although it might be achieved it will not be followed by altcoin for a large scale. current market growth is different from before. the market adoption of new projects is not as large as before. it will be difficult to talk about ATH.

I think having altcoin right now is a not so good choice. have more bitcoin than the altcoin. You can see that the recovery that happened to bitcoin is quite large. but what the altcoin market is doing is not much of an improvement response.

   OrangeII you are right, everyone should invest in Ethereum and Bitcoin first. The bigger part of my portfolio is in Bitcoin and
Ethereum, but I have many other alt-coins. Not all of them will be successful, and not all of them will make me a profit, but I
invested in projects I believe in. We don't know what future is brining, that's why I try to diversify as much as I can.

For me, there is no sign for me for altcoins to pop again or new alt season.
But we have a chance especially if we fall around below 60% of Bitcoin dominance.
For me, this time is not a right time for altcoins, still risky, needs more time.
