Some project do conduct swapping without telling investors my friend has lost some Ethereum because he didn't know when the token he bought swapped to EOS network there was no proper communication tidsy his legacy tokens are useless. After swapping there should be option to swap in the future left open for who may but be in their telegram group chat.

maybe your friend is left behind information to do swaps that often happens on several projects, but there are some projects that do a manual swap by contacting the team, if they are left behind, does your friend not try to contact the team?

The team should be responsible regarding those kind of changes on their project. They should give clear updates on their thread, social media channels or their blogs. Serious projects will give the details very clear to all its stakeholders. Otherwise, start thinking of discarding what you have.

The thread has been inactive for long time already. So I don't think they will ever give updates here. If you are a holder, you should follow closely their social media channels particularly telegram or twitter.

If any project suddenly changed its contract address without informing their community/investors is most likely a scam project. It should be their first priority to update and said the date when they plan to execute the changes in their contract address. If they just change it without notice, it only means that they are not transparent and a scam.

I have found several projects that change their contract addresses.
one of them Mindsync, Kick ico Nighlightoken and others.
there are some of them who don't give reasons for swaps to new tokens and that confuses the token holders

According to their telegram group, after the announcement news from the P2PB2B their team also responded to the change information of the token. He said sorry because a bit late informing all of their community regarding the swap plan.

You should try to join their telegram since there is no activity on their social media, ur token still can be swap just waiting for the news from them around 1 month since their posted on march should be the swap news coming out around April or May.

Do not too much hoping this token, cause there is no activity at all from the team.

I cannot access their telegram channel because they ban  me for asking a legit question about the project, they always do that if you investigate this project, so many people are banned on their telegram, I'll just wait for the swap, not really good for a project to only announce it in their channel when they can do so on all their social handle and their announcement thread.

If it was intended for their selfish goal, then we can consider that project as suspicious one.

Yes, because it is their right to know everything about the project. Transparency is one of the ways to show that the project is open and not acting suspiciously at all.

You can contact the team and ask thie reason about that so you can spot whether the team has a valid reason or just mialeading the participants.

I think this is unnecessary because as OP stated, their telegram channel is already inaccessible and they can't contact the page, this only means that the project is already exited and doing another suspicious activity right now.

I have been holding small amount of LK token and it's worth nothing. We are getting scammed and all of the channels to contact the team already erased.

Well, if their telegram channel has been deleted. Then all hope is over, forget this project and invest in other projects much better. Luckily I never knew about this project because there were so many altcoins in the market and most of them were scams.

With smart-contracts in ethereum, which is the most used to run ICO based new projects, the way to make great updates is to change terms in the contract which is not possible so there is no other way but to migrate to another contract with new conditions. Without announcing the address change to community, it becomes a confirmed scam or at least cases an unprofessional move which may infect the project reputation.

If they deliberately does not give any update on their change of contract then likely this is a scam project. Changing contract address is very rare unless they needed to do so to fixed or change up some plan on their supply, or about its token economics. Many have suffered on this kind of method like thorecoin that changes their blockchain and did not give chance to those who missed the swapping process. But thats their planned. So I can guess that liker world is no difference. They know this to avoid some buyers of the old contract to exchange their tokens but using same network of eth this should not be hard.

I follow Telegram group of this project. It seems that they have sold their project. New team decided to swap token to new contract address without any announcement. Obviously scam project, your Likerworld token become useless just forget it.
