Forex Trading meaning.
Foreign exchange is the digital trading of fiat currencies globally. This currencies can be influenced by both technical and fundamental factors which traders often leverage on for profitability.

Crypto Trading meaning.
Cryptocurrency trading is the digital trading of Crypto currencies by traders and investors. This currencies operates with a  decentralized systems and a public ledger called blockchain.

According to Statista the market cap of Crypto market is USD237.1billion. Bitcoins is the leading Crypto currency in terms of market cap.

Bloomberg reported the market cap of forex market to be USD 6.6trillion as at 2019.

That clearly shows that the market size of forex is larger than that of crypto.

There are some Interesting intersession between the two financial systems. Some are;
 
* They both use both technical and fundamental analysis to trade.
* They are digital trading based on different financial assets with different set of principles.
* There is always risk to be taken in both markets.

I know we have some differences but that's not what this thread is created for. This is what I want this forum to based the discuss on;

It's pretty simple, and I'm pretty sure most of the cryptocurrency traders will have the same exact answer— volatility. The cryptocurrency markets are simply far more volatile compared to the stock markets and forex markets hence bigger amounts of money can be made(and lost, of course). In contrast to forex, whereas to make(or lose) significant amounts of money without that big of a bankroll, you'd need to use leverage.

Forex like gambling machine, but all potatos, apples, etc replaced to EURUSD, GBPUSD etc. But using forex patfoms for buy BTCUSD with 100 margin power can will be profit.

Simple reasons such stock and forex will crash and potentially leading to default just like what happened to Oil and it is flawed, infinite value, can be manipulated by central authority and even restrict you from using your own fiat money.
In Cryptocurrency, it is scarce no forex posses such a feature, so it cannot be devalued and it is decentralize. A true financial freedom against banks because you can become your own bank by installing an app to store your money whenever you wish to use it.

My reason is simple,  because I get used to it and for me the volatility in cryptocurrency market is more good where I can make more money but the approaches in forex and cryptocurrency trading is both the same for me. I tried to open a account before where I tried to trade forex, I used the same approaches that I applying in cryptocurrency market and luckily it is also working in forex. And also the leveraged offering in cryptocurrency market is more higher than in forex.

I was always afraid to trade for fiat money. I thought if I start and I would be losing, I would lose even more, trying to come back to at least 0 (the amount I’ve started to trade). But then all of a sudden I found out about cryptocurrency, bought my first alts and managed to do x2 during my first trade (it was a pump, *caugh* trap). But I have seen many people do crypto trading and forex trading together. Their trading knowledge is so good that they can get good results on both sides. So I think if you can improve your trading knowledge, you can do well in all markets. However, there are risks in all markets, so you have to prepare yourself to deal with all the risks.

Instead of being jack of all trades and and master of none it's better to be jack of one and master of one.

I suggest one should choose either crypto or forex trading and specialize on it. That'll be more profitable than doing the two at once.

I understand your comment. There is a concept I've not still understand which is "Leverage ". Is it a concept in trading or it's  literal word we use daily?

Forex exchange is more stable than crypto it will not go up with massive percentage or go down as well. While on the cryptocurrency you can experience it. Because cryptocurrency potential is far greater than these national currencies. Some crypto has limited supply except ETH which is increasing now and then, Most cryptocurrency especially bitcoin has limited supply so the probability to go higher is big, more chances of profit on cryptocurrency but the loss is also expected if you don't know what you are doing, be responsible if you trade.

Yeah. Not all traders work with two platform at once. There are some traders who do well in both markets. I also agree with you that if you can get a good knowledge about one, you don't need to trade in two markets. The more you have an idea about that market, the better you can trade in that market. It does not need to go in both directions. But if you have interest and confidence, you can trade in two markets. But I think if you can gain a good knowledge of trading, and understand the movement of the market, then you have a chance to do well in all markets.

I believe the major reason from members is the volatility which can give traders huge return in a very short time. Trading bitcoin is very fast in return just like a gold paired with fiat currency. This volatility is because of no adequate regulation and so good traders take advantage to make money especially swinging their trade or orders.

Basically cryptocurrency market is both for short and long term investment and trading unlike forex which is less volatile so you could be waiting a month before you can decide whether you pull it out or still continue holding. Crypto trading more complex than forex in my opinion since forex is heavily regulated that'sy speculation of the people could help your investment grow in no time, could also lose it all otherwise. Cryptocurrency like bitcoin is most likely to be the best short and long term trade material for cryptocurrency.

Maybe because its unusual? I am not started to trade on forex but I know that this is good. Maybe fate that I learned cryptocurrency trasing first than forex. I have a lot of encouragement from friends to tey out forex since I know some background about trading already. Maybe I like how the set up for trading on crypto which is not regulated. Cause most forex can make you bleed. Talking about volatility, for sure everyone will agree how risky crypto is but the profits here is much good if you know the vasics of it. No. Aside from security tokens majority of cryptocurrencies we have in the market including Bitcoin has barely to none existent Fundamental analysis, why? Because it is not a company where they have financial information on their earnings, assets, or losses. How can you do Fundamenta Analysis on these cryptocurrencies if these crypto can't product financial data?

I don't even know what is your point on these two since we are talking about trading everything now exists digitally, we don't print out paper anymore if we purchase stocks of companies or buy any asset online not unless you request it to your broker. And yes it is obvious that there is risks involved in these markets but it doesn't mean they have similar risks involved.

Because the gain we will have in forex trading for a year might just be one day in the crypto market. Yes we can have more potential gain in a shorter period in the crypto market but also it is more riskier compared to forex but I think that's what a lot of people accepted already since they would rather be on a fast moving asset rather than an asset that can only give them a slow progress.

I believe both trades are affected by price movement which is technical analysis and politics and trends which is fundamental analysis.
A combination of the two will ensure that there is an optimal advantage to a  trader.

There are people that trade based on political news while there others that trade based on price movement.
A hybridization of the two will be perfect.

I choose crypto than forex it's because I understand the crypto trading than forex,Forex its hard to understand the forex I'm not trading profissional,I know scalping only and basic trade ☺️

I am not much familiar with forex trading but I am quite familiar with crypto trading. That's the reason why I am not interested on forex nor I have intention to learn it. On the crypto you are able to take advantage of volatility which has answered by most of users here. As far as I know there is chances even your portfolio could become almost ZERO (it would be wrong). But on the crypto at least your portfolio will not ZERO(if you do not buy scam coin), and likely you would save your fund with small loss.

I like to trade cryptocurrencies than forex because there is a higher volatility and also there is a bigger risk than in forex . Higher risk but at the same time higher earnings

• When you're not trading, holding a deflationary currency is better than holding an inflationary currency (in theory)

I believe it all depends on the trader itself.

A forex trade who already knows how to read and trade on the forex markets will be saying forex better than crypto. Then a crypto trader who already knows how to read and trade on the crypto market will be saying crypto was better than forex. A thread like this, mostly went the thread was created on the cryptocurrency forum of course everyone will be saying crypto was better than forex, they will be doing the same thing on the forex forum

No matter which market ur trade, as long we can get profit then not really a problem.
