great idea however how they will choose the persons before being rewarded and how many persons can get the rewards by participating in discussions? is any one can also receive a payment equivalent to the quality they add for discussion  or they will only choose who's persons they think should receive  the reward .

They will not give you a reward if there is no task to be comply. Because for sure they have a requirements before they give a bitcoin as payment, isn't it right? Joining in the discussion is easy but the question is yo didn't specify the exact rules for this one dude, this is just for
clarification.

This is a new platform, so the rules will constantly be tweaked and we need more people discussing so we can figure out the best way to rank and reward participation. The current model is heavily influenced by engagement, but that wont be the case at scale.

What i am most excited about is this is a great use case for Bitcoin that supports the same ideals of freedom and equality

There is an active discussion happening right now on Defunding the Police.

From the discussion topic:

“Defund the police” means reallocating or redirecting funding away from the police department to other government agencies funded by the local municipality. It's as straightforward as it sounds: Instead of funding a police department, a sizable chunk of a city's budget is invested in communities, especially marginalized ones where much of the policing occurs.

To be eligible for competitive debating in this discussion, focus on the following concepts:

-How reallocating funds decreases crime (cite examples of community funding that lead to decreased crime) -How defunding police departments will increase crime (cite examples of decreased funding that led to an increase in crime) -The pros and cons of disbanding police departments -Alternatives for community-led public safety

Fact submission can be done directly on Twitter or the community Discord channel

Reward structure: 1st Place Debate - $25 2nd Place Debate - $10 Most Useful Fact - $15

This is still something we are building -- so any ideas on how to best reward and rank discussion contributions is something we really want to discuss. We have a community discord we would love to invite people to participate in setting the logic for how the whole system works. This is for all of us

Update on this. We stopped paying out for debates and have pivoted to a fact-checking bot for Twitter -- you can activate the bot using #factcheck @dimosfactcheck

Why did we stop the paid debates? Simple...no one was interested. Seriously. We could barely get anyone to participate when we were paying out $50 in BTC

Im much happier working on something that feels real...the paid debates were the wrong angle

Your project idea is really good of paying users for debate. But I think you missed marketing part of it. Anyone can start thread and say I will pay you to debate it doesn't mean everyone will start joining them.

Users check the platform and your site doesn't even give much information for first. Users have to register on platform to access your site. You need to have to do marketing and gain some attention so people will join you else they are already earning by joining signature campaigns.
