On Tradingview, with the current price of 700, I am calculating a 2% stop loss and a 5% Take Profit limit.
So that would be -
Stop Loss: 700 * 2% = 14. So stop should be at 686 (700 - 14).
Take Profit: 700 * 5% = 35. So TP should be at 735 (700 + 35).
But now look at what the Tradingview order entry panel gives me when I enter a 2% SL or 5% TP limit.
You can see that it calculates it differently and its putting the Stop Loss 20 pips away (instead of 14) and the TP 52 pips away (instead of 35).
Can someone explain this anomaly?
