We also need to be realistic about the shortcomings in BTC and other top alt coins like ethereum, PoW has serious short comings that sooner or later need to be addresses. PoC and other consensus algos are the ultimate way forward that will take over the consensus algo in coming days. Just my few satoshis.
Despite shortcomings in PoW, its still the most poplar consensus algorithm and no other consensus algorithm has the ability to overpower the PoW. You can say PoS which mass is offering may stand somewhere after PoW but not near to it. The point is PoW is for Bitcoin but if you are looking to launch new coin then why not use some consensus algorithm that can full fill short comings of POW consensus algorithm. PoS are a good choice for new projects. |

Bitcoin halving season always give good surprises and its good for the bitcoin prices. Halving party is still there for people who invest wisely. Wait, there must be some halving party for MASS miners also. Can someone tell when MASS halving party is coming.

Bitcoin took lots of time before it gets recognition while MASS is launched in a time when everyone knows what crypto is and how much beneficial mining can be. So comparison of Bitcoin and MASS cant be done at the moment. If you have HDD going idle everyday then better invest that in mining. |

If you really wanna know about that answer then I tell you dont waste your time here rather go and join there telegram group. There TG is very active and you will get to know how much MASS you will get for specific HDD. I got the answer but its 6 months old, so it wont help here. Please do post what answer you get for benefit of all. |

Your observation is fair and I admit that MASS has no doubt unique features but it has to show that apart from features MASS has the tendency to go up in terms of price also. MASS time for now is over, as its evident from its price history its continuously going down. Though MASS has exceptional features it fail to gain momentum in its price. Even when Bitcoin was bullish MASS was no way near to bull run. Now it will take 6 months or year for MASS to regain its lost momentum. |

But I dont think MASS is the right choice at the moment since its price is way too down and we are not hearing any project update about the project. Just look at some other coin that can give you good return in coming future. I dont think MASS has good future in coming days.
I have a difference here that is we cant predict the future and there is no way we can say with cetanity that MASS has no future. Same was said for BTC in 2009 and see where its standing today. Likewise, if you dont like a coin you cant say its game if over forever. |
