Did Covid-19 affect crypto gambling?

I don't think it affects that much negatively on the gambling industry but I think the appropriate answer was it affect positively as many people who prefers physical casinos have turn into online gambling specifically crypto gambling.

With the pandemic currently ravaging the world, the influx of people that have been gambling on casinos and playing online during the quarantine is very high. Gambling patrons will surely try this option since most of the casinos and gambling houses closed (saved for those illegal). In my opinion, this pandemic helped many online business peosper for obvious reasons and this is also very good PR for the online businesses because they are getting recognized by more people. My advice to people wanting to invest in something, try online casinos or better yet try kickstarting an online business.

The sports companies are trying to resume their events again, but they need approval from the government because, without the government, they cannot do that. I'm pretty sure that it got affected. I mean, was there a business that wasn't affected by the virus? Almost, if not all industries in the world revolve around buying and selling so I doubt there is one though. Especially since selling requires resources, and with a lot of places being unable to properly function, said resources would naturally dwindle down because no one can properly gather them at an amount where the demand meets the supply. Even with gambling which basically handles money. Sure, at the beginning, there may be a number of people who would still gamble, but that number should drop quite a bit as time passes by. The only ones who can afford to still gamble are those rich people out there that aren't much affected when it comes to money tbh. They have an abundant amount that they have no idea what to do with it anymore after all.

This is because Google search provides local search results which is why when people search for "online casino", the results show websites of local casinos. I can't see crypto-related casinos when I tried it but I think people will find these crypto casinos in some places where casinos are now starting to accept BTC.

As you know, Covid-19 caused serious economic problems in the whole world, and a lot of industries got affected even indirectly, simply because people may now have less money to spend.

Gambling is an expensive form of entertainment, and I would assume people will be gambling much less if they have lost their jobs due to lockdown. I think so too. No one is exempted in this trying times. While its true that a lot of gamblers are still gambling through online gambling. We can't deny that some gamblers still chose to stop because of the pandemic. And we are in lockdown for 2 months now, some maybe lost their savings in the first month(unless they won or still working from home). Its also true that some gamblers can stay gambling for a few month without being in trouble, and they are the customers of the online gambling now.

As for me, I chose to stop because we are face with the uncertainty of the future, I just realized that I need to save for the future to come.

Gambling may be expensive leisure but we have different financial statuses. Obviously, for those who struggle and have lesser income, there would be a negative effect of COVID on their gambling. But for those who are fortunate, they are still capable of gambling even with COVID so they don't have to worry financially.

Personally, I can still afford to buy my needs and still have a little budget for extra entertainment but thinking wisely, I will prefer not to gamble.  I want to use this extra money practically or save this in case of an extended lockdown or emergency. I'm thinking of only going back to gambling if everything started going back to normal. So to answer your question, yes, it made me stop gambling for a while since I have my priorities I need to think first than gambling.

But it's cheaper this way.

You could play a longer time with just $100.  
While in casinos it will just take minutes to deplete it, if lucky an hour then you will be going home early if you don't have a spare.
I try to do something else to avoid it.
Putting just the right amount and if I lose that, I will restart again tomorrow.
A limit to wins should also be provided. When you double the money then try to rest, do no let greed take over.

Right, there has been an increase in the promotion of new gambling sites and old sites on forums in the last few months. Gambling sites maximize their chances of attracting visitors because many people are bored staying at home while lockdown.

However, I dont think that this will increase site revenue quickly because some people will also save money during a pandemic. No sports betting also has an important factor for them to try to attract the interest of gamblers turning to sites with other classic games such as dice, blackjack, and others.
