I haven't experienced it yet in online gambling. Maybe that's the reason why I prefer and contented with gambling online than interacting with people on physical casinos.

The feeling is natural especially when you are losing, and your competitor has their friends close to laugh at you when you quit.

I think that's more difficult to handle when there's people who would laugh when you decided to quit whether you are winning or losing.

It would become difficult if you would always give a damn about everybody's would've to say or whatever they gonna do. They're mocking you obviously, and they are getting on your nerves to force you to play once more till you got nothing left even pride. But can't blame anybody for being insensitive about this, that's how gambling with people around became more interesting. But it doesn't mean you have to let loose, and lower you guard 'cause doom is going to be beside ya the entire time till you get back into your senses.

Yeah, man. Basic tips here is to fight back by ignoring. Sounds ridiculous though but that's the only thing I can think of what would save you inside. Might be hard at first, and it sucks. And of course insecurities would attack you, but once you handle their teasing by not giving a little piece of care, believe me you'll be out there without a worry. But you have to win next time lol. It ain't about losing money and be fine.

I agree with you.  when we are in casino, we only have the desire to win. if we lose, the desire to win becomes stronger, sometimes we gamble by spending more than our allotted money, you know that it is one kind of addiction. When we come back to consciousness, then it was too late, we have lost our everything.
On the other hand, if we win, we want to play more, friends often encourage doing more gamble when they see a win. only for this reason sometimes I try to avoid real world casino, I like sports gambling more.

Gambling does not put pressure to the players, in my opinion there is no such thing as pressure when you are gambling, why would you put yourself in a position where you are forced to play and not to enjoy it, gambling should be fun and engaging but putting yourself in an unnecessary pressure makes the experience worthless. There is pressure when money is involved but gambling should be different, for me, mentality is enough to make this so called pressure at bay. Also if you are constantly losing then you are doing something wrong, you are putting pressure to yourself because you want to breakeven the money that you spent with gambling, my advice for that is to stop and take a breather, get off the table and clear your mind, remember that pressure is just a mentality and you can erase that if you are  eager.

Physical gambling do put pressure but I think that the pressure that are on work there is not individual, it is more on social. This kind of pressure can easily be shrugged off, and I think that the word pressure when it comes to gambling has been generalized so much that we can't tell the difference of social and personal pressure.

This happens to me all the time when we are gambling in what we call "peryahan". Maybe some know that term but that is very popular for us especially where there is a fiesta. Its like the same as roulette where you will predict where the ball will go and if you predicted it you will win. When I'm with my friends and we go there, I only getting a small amount of money because I expect that I will use all of that money with them.

Since I do online gambling, I don't feel this kind of pressure. I can stop whenever I want or when I have used all of my money. I don't feel embarrassed or what.

I do online gambling too so pressure like you said in your thread is the one that I don't felt whenever I'm gambling. I know how to control myself so I will gamble whenever I want to and will stop when I need to stop.

It does happen and I have experience it personally, the capital example was a perfect one because from my findings that's the most trick they use to convince you. They make you think that by not continue paying, you're chickening out. But in online gambling there's no one to presume you into gambling if you exceeded your gambling limit for that particular game or day.

It is not gambling who puts pressure, but the people inside of it. Co-gamblers are the one who puts the pressure to other gamblers, it is not being forced to play but your eagerness to continue playing with those guys.

No, I don't feel pressured at all, although the tendency when you are a group playing in a casino and you are playing at different tables or slot machines is that you will have to wait for each other when it is about time to leave. While waiting there are times when instead of just idling there, you are forced to spend a few more bucks and minutes.

 if you are winning it feels not right to stop when your opponents still have some funds left and wants to continue playing yet  but if you are on the losing side and you said you wanted to quit , that is allowed .  it only suck sometimes because your winnings can sometimes turn into losses if you have an urge to stop but you can't due to embarrassment  and also your scared to be beaten up

If you are playing in a offshore gambling house you are not entitled to  stay once you already satisfied with your profits. but if you are playing with someone which is not inside legal gambling house the chance of be beaten is always possible since your opponents still have funds and they will

The pressure is real. Eye contacts with them add pressure too. Specially when you are winning, not in a casino but I felt it while playing tongits with friends. I am winning and my friend is kind of pump up to get back what he just lost. Its kind of embarassing to quit at the moment because you won, felt like a jerk to say you don't want to play anymore just because you are winning. Sometimes I waited for the moment one player said he'll quit then I follow it up to end the game, or have someone change me as a player. Add the fact that you have a friend by your side cheering you on continuously saying "its your day! Go win more!". These comments will have you play more. A different kind of pressure but still a pressure.

Well, that is right. I often play online gambling and it easy to refrain from playing if I have the reason like when I lose my allotted money for the gambling or if I have something to do perhaps, I seldom do physical gambling and I understand the pressure that you are referring to but in my case, --I always make sure that whatever happens regardless if I win or lose. I will really stop if I already need to especially if I already consumed the money I allocated in the game because of losing. Indeed, I even tell my playmates that I need to stop in a certain time if I still have something to do before we start playing and I make sure that they agree on my conditions so, no matter what would people say especially those who are just watching us I don't mind them because of the agreement I already made.

I have not come across such a situation so I won't know whether this kind of situation can arise. I generally gamble online so things are pretty different but sometimes I do gamble online with my mates and when I want to stop I do stop.

Just like what others say, maybe it's best not to let what other people would say, pressure you. I think it's also like a psychological game when you let them dictate whether you will continue playing or not, it means they're winning over you since they are manipulating you. It's good for you if can handle this kind of pressure very well. But since I haven't experienced it yet, maybe it would be nerve-wracking.

Its kind of a bad idea to go to casino with a gambling addict. Once you chose to stop, he will start convincing you to continue playing. I once saw it not from a casino but from a tongits play I am watching when I was a kid. Its kind of irritating to watch specially when the player is embarrassed to quit too and kind of gullible to that friend(which is so loud). He's like a hype man pressuring you to play even though you wanted to stop, he's just there watching every move you take, and kind of motivating you in some point.

Online or in physical casino, there is no difference as long as you have friends with you watching and talking on your back.
Some friends are just like a demon, if you decide to stop because you feel you are already contented with your win but they'll say go on, and sometimes that will lead to big regret, so better take a friend with you who will only watch but not dictate of give an opinion when not ask.
