Anyway, nice thread mate, all of the gamblers really need is one. We should be the one who is responsible for our current situation as a gambler. If we have feeling that we are getting addicted on it then we should make something to prevent it. There are some consultants we can have to ask for help on it. There are already given websites and calling number that the OP has started and all of it are legit.

So what are you waiting for, if you are getting war on your friends and family because of you getting addicted on gambling then I think you should follow what OP' said. It would be great if you will make an action to stop it.

You made a good point here, I doubt people who have serious gambling addiction will read that's sites. Even his wife or close friends who always telling to stop gambling, he will keep gambling and ignoring them. He can't stop gambling until he realize if he was do bad (such as: gambling debt).

I know nothing wrong with OP by creating this thread to help gambler who have serious gambling addiction, but I think this wouldn't help to much...

Today there are a lot of people who really love to play gambling because they want to wage their money and they are trying their luck if they are going to win their money and wages. But today because of the pandemic outbreak some of the gambling places today are close because they want to avoid getting people infected because of this outbreak and some of the countries temporarily close that casino because this is one of the most populated places for over the world. Also, we have online gambling or the e-gambling because it is more convenient for the people they can now make gambling games on their house and make a relax while playing.

Not all the time we are going to win our games because not all the time luck is not on with us also at the same time there are players that are really good at playing gambling and can conquer the whole game and we lose on these also it is better to make sure we know the acceptance of losing our funds because of the anxiety and depression conquer the emotional aspect of the person because of the number of loss of their funds it is a hard issue and needed by the help of the family, friends and professional doctors.

Nice thread buddy, there are many gamblers who are really addicted, they tend to play time by time which results in negative. Some people get mental and physical health. They are really focused on gambling to the point that they always forget to eat and to take care of their selves because they only want to play. Some people get so irritated and mad so quickly because of gambling. Once they have lost money in gambling it would affect their mind they feel so angry and they tend to show it from his or her family.

The problems with this is, most gamblers don't want to be cured. Even when they say they do. It is really a hard situation but in the end those professionals can't stop you from playing If you want to play. You'll find a way.

I think this kind of method was still not a really good option, the best thing you can cure from our addicted you got some supported from our closest person maybe girlfriend, best friend, family or special person from our life. If the person only has some communication with the professional adviser and no one accompany the person who needs some support from the addicted. All the effort from the professional advice will be worthless.

Anyone who knows he has issues with gambling is actually someone without any issues. It's more of like them being paranoid or some stuff about it most of the time. Most people with issues regarding mental health by gambling are actually people who mostly don't know that they need actual help. Those help guides are more for people that are around the said person tbh. Additionally, most people being helped by doctors are actually not appreciating the said help, making the issue a lot worse. It's a problem that's been around for so long and is honestly very difficult to resolve.

If this is free then it's a good service to those who are truly in need.
I've seen gamblers that can't help themselves that posted their problems here. So, I think professional help is actually needed by them, and if there are opportunities like this and you have nothing to lose, it's a good thing to give it a try.

I know some gamblers who are addicted does not even admit that they are addicted to gambling, they feel what they are doing is just normal so they will not submit to anything that is called cure.  Also, this is online, I think if a gambler is in serious addiction, he should be treated in  facility where there's a face to face interaction between the patient and the doctor, and also the role of the family is very crucial in this process.

True, addicted gamblers obviously don't recognised their problem until it's too late. So I doubt that they will call or visit this websites unless something happen to them to really turn their lives around and leave gambling for good. I think if someone really wanted to quit gambling or at least will seek help, they will go to their families first, before asking a professional help.

Absolutely, not everyone has the capacity to get treated in a professional approach and sometimes the only person who can naturally help these people to get out of misery are really their love ones.

I am really skeptic when it comes to professional help especially if it involves psychiatric approach.

You're right. In another topic, I wrote that the main problem of a dependent person is to realize that he has an addiction. It is after he is aware that he can get rid of the problem.

In such an organization may apply to relatives of the players. They can be helped in the form of a story about how to help rid your husband/brothers/son, etc. from addiction.

Sometimes it's very hard to see the signs of addiction until it's too late. First step in solving the problem is to admit that you have one but addicted gamblers hide that. Very often only family and friends can't help and they need professionals. What is worse, addiction once cured can very easy come back because it's very hard to get and maintain selfcontrol so that often ends in.closed circle.

People who are addicted are hard to give advice because they do not think that advice is good, but with relatives or family that is the reason why gamblers should be close to them I am sure this problem will be overcome with enough time because it is not easy for addictions to Stop.

But they will play any means to bet and stay at home because that is the reason to avoid being advised by good people, so it must be controlled by it.

I agree with you. An addict would not admit that he's addicted to gambling. Because they often think that they are still normal gamblers. It's normal that they won't seek help because they are thinking that seeking professional help means they are not mentally healthy. For me, the family of gambling addicts is the one who can say if the person is addicted to gambling. And they should be the ones to help them. People will only realize when they are already suffering from addiction. The role of the family and friends are really needed for a gambling addict to conquer its addiction.

But I am guessing 50 percent are also in control of their gambling lifestyles.
I don't know why I said it, just my own basis.
