Can blockchain technology help universities and colleges?

Of course. Actually the project study of my classmates is about blockchain technology and because of that interesting project, they passed the course. If you have the foundation of programming especially the basics of python, you can easily build your own blockchain and it's up to you on what kind of implementation you will do. It has a lot of applications as long as there are data, blockchain will become mainstream as projects in universities.

We actually don't need specific subject of blockchain, what we really need is the foundation is programming in computer related courses.

I did read an article in the past about the school distributing its diplomas using blockchain and its recorded there.  Schools wouldn't have to keep a pile of papers and database for it because blockchain will do it for them.

When verifying records for employment, the employers can access the blockchain records without having to email the school anymore since all of the data are in the blockchain.

For sure it will help without any hesitation. Data of students, of diplomas and different sertificates,  Olympiads, competitions, the various tests and exams and its results could be kept in safety and lots of financial questions of universities budget will be solved in a one clique - Blockchain will ensure transparency - how and for what the budget is spent. Everything will become more clear. And of course thinking broader Blockchain can help with transparency for lots of different directions of peoples lives.

Understand that transparency is not always necessary. Often I want to make a financial transfer and I would not like the public to see the movement of my capital. Of course, this largely depends on you - how many people know that you are the owner of a particular bitcoin wallet. But I would prefer transaction anonymity and transparency to be optional.

I see that the implementation of blockchain in Universities is viable. Sooner rather than later it should happen. I'm not sure that Cornell University created blockchain at the institution. But I do know that they are imparting the best crypto education in the world.

That is possible, blockchain can also be used for financial systems or final project book inventories, I once drew a picture of the system because there are classes and in some state universities have Blockchain Technology courses. Blockchain can be developed by anyone and it is open source, you can also develop it and implement it in your field. It's just that blockchain technology development doesn't have many developers, so it's a bit difficult to find development problems.

In my opinion it all depends on the university itself, how they agree to improve learning about Blockchain technology, if the university agrees to add this lesson it might be even better for their future, because I think knowledge about Blockchain technology is very important and will be useful in future. So if they want to invest in cryptocurrency, they already know what to do in their own way.

It also depends on the willingness of a Department to teach it within the University. If they can see in which opportunity to teach Blockchain, then creating ideas from it would be good. Knowing or being knowledgeable about Blockchain can be a good edge against other people with no knowledge about it. It can also help you see opportunities that can be utilized with the use of Blockchain.

It's good that school were starting to teach blockchain for adoption, the only sector now that do provides program in learning cryptocurrency in my country is a bank that sets to start crypto transaction and aims crypto developers here in my country they provide instution to provide knowledge for many, if schools will implement it, it will benefit many to find new skills and ways to earn.

Blockchain is already used by other universities and colleges, I/ve read MIT has been using it to disseminate certificate and diplomas since 2015 or 2016. It really help a lot in terms of sceurity, it gives the students full ownership of their transcripts rather than the university. Same thing we are enjoying with bitcoin right.

The blockchain is really a great technology that other systems or companies can used for their own use. I think as of now there are a lot of colleges are into blockchain already, and no, it doesn't mean they're into bitcoin too. It's not the same thing. I'm hoping this technology will be used on other great things aside from transcript distribution. I believe that bringing blockchain to schools and higher institutions is a better way to grow the awareness of the technology because the schools are filled with the youths which is the engine room of any society. So the awareness will be more active as student can spread news faster and it will also be a lecture to the curriculum in the school callender.

I guess there should be less worry about blockchain being taught in school coz you can basically apply for webinars about blochain, seminars and programs about blockchain, video tutorials about it. I don't think we should need a school lesson for blockchain, but it will be a great way to proceed.
