There is now a Github Account for Ghost: https://github.com/ghost-coinMeanwhile the real whitepaper was published on the official website.
LOL, what do you mean "real whitepaper"? You mean the second, non-plagiarized whitepaper? Just ask yourself this: if a project can't be bothered to summarize the idea of their coin with their own words from the get-go, how much effort do you truly believe they are going to be putting into anything else? When caught, they used the same excuse that every other scam project that got caught with a plagiarized whitepaper uses: "Oh, we outsourced it to a 3rd party and had no idea..." Obvious scam is obvious. Sure, it will pump, and then it will dump, and then it will turn to dust. Just like every other crypto project McAfee has ever put his name behind. Apparently people still have faith that a 74 year-old con man will somehow develop something original out of a forked project, and that this time is going to be different. Oy vey. Crypto is a Clown World, it`s more about creating a huge hype about "the next big thing" than about serious work. Well some people say that even the new whitepaper is plagiarized from Particl, I haven't verified the Information on this picture:

Crypto is a Clown World, it`s more about creating a huge hype about "the next big thing" than about serious work.
While I appreciate your honesty, you are completely wrong here. Crypto in itself is just a technology - it is not bad or good - it just is. The clowns in crypto insist on pretending crypto is a Clown World in order to justify their scammy behavior. Creating undue hype in order to market a scam is nothing new and has been done since the beginning of civilization. OK, so instead of being a clone of Pivx its now a clone of Particl: still, absolutely nothing new or innovative being done here. There is some plagiarism happening in the new white paper but it isn't from Particle, its from Zcoin. From the new Ghost white paper (copied words are bolded): Usually, cryptocurrency transactions are broadcasted across the network using the Gossip protocol, in which every node sends the transaction to all the nodes, to which it is connected. While the current system is efficient, it is also possible to de-anonymize the original sender of the txs [Fan18]. Dandelion++ makes a simple but crucial change to the current transaction broadcasting pattern.
Instead of sending transactions to all connected nodes on the network, Dandelion++ initially sends them to only one other node. This next node then randomly decides if it Ghost, a peer-to-peer privacy-oriented electronic cash system broadcasts the transaction on to just one, or all of its connected peers. With the introduction of the element of chance, the propagation pattern now becomes unpredictable, making it infeasible to trace a specific transaction back to the original tx broadcaster’s IP address. From zcoin.io: Usually, the way that cryptocurrency transactions spread across the network is very predictable. While the current system is effective, it is also vulnerable to low-cost, large-scale deanonymization attacks. Dandelion++ makes a simple but crucial change to the previous broadcasting pattern.
Instead of sending transactions to all neighbors, Dandelion++ initially sends them to only one other node. This next node then rolls a dice to decide if it passes it on to just one or all of its neighbors. With the introduction of this element of chance, the propagation pattern now becomes unpredictable, making it infeasible to follow the transaction back to the sender. This isn't plagiarism but it certainly is a lie: Why Particl?
When Ghost was initially started, it was an unanimous decision from the development team to fork the codebase from this open source project . Further to their initial bitcoin fork, they have extended the functionality of their network in a direction that similarly aligned their goals with the ones Ghost has. 1. The initial idea was actually to clone Pivx and hope nobody would notice. 2. After getting caught, they just cloned a smaller project instead of bothering to create anything original. This project has quite a few markings of a scam and if they had an official account on this forum I would probably tag & flag them. Don't buy this bullshit unless you like losing money.

What is nutildah talking about?
GHOST is clearly a fork of another open source project, it is normal to find some similarities.
I need to add here that i did the swap, all smooth, thanks to the community for help me out.

Why would anyone want to clone PIVX after their failed attempt at creating a new coin undercover and abandon their original PIVX idea?
PIVX is a failure and the developers know it, they are just milking it.

For me this man lost his way long ago. McAfee has always liked big golden headlines with his name and a photo where you can see your message, me, me, me, I am the important thing.
I don't think this project (if it really is) goes anywhere simply because of the bad way they started.

Even the developer of pivx has already created its own fork coin for pivx called veil with a new mechanism but that's very sad to see the veil platforms have been getting hijacked due to the vulnerability that is being discovered by the hackers. We didn't actually need ghost.

......... We didn't actually need ghost. Maybe you don't but believe it or not the vast majority believe they do, the way I see it, people are into crypto for the quick profit thing, it is all about what can make 50% - 100% profit, not about the technology and certainly not about the originality behind the project, Am sure those who bought GHOST are buying with the hope that it will pump insanely because of the person behind it, McAfee is known for his flamboyant way of operating, people once believe in him, see him as the crypto lord... even though many people no longer have such believe..... still there are many who are hoping to make profit off him through this project once again. The market is already choked with repetitive projects.

McAfee is taking advantage of his fame, he knows that many people follow him and he knows that many people believe him, he will try to get the most economic benefit by launching copies of altcoins or doing whatever.
When time passes and it is shown that his project is a failure he will do what he has always done, say that it was some conspiracy by the government or that the aliens have abducted him.
