Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision?

As a trader, it is normal for us to encounter difficulties while engaging a lot of trading platforms and I know that it is not easy for us to overcome it.

There's the time where we almost lose all our money in trading and we only have a certain small amount of money. Some people are still risking it and some are saving it for future errands.

I remember when I chose to trade, I experienced a lot of struggle as I lose a certain transaction and regret it afterwards,
but I never stopped and instead I continue those transaction because I got a lot of profits sometimes.

But then I realized that it I want a long term source of profit then I switched and engaged with crypto investment. I found it really beneficial for me as I want to become more futuristic,
although the progress is not that fast but I think that it is much safer for me to invest here.

Do you think this is a good decision? I know that most of us are struggling in trading, could you give us more idea? And what are your thoughts about this?

You have good decisions regarding trading and investing and I support you, I think what you are doing is very good. I don't like long-term investments in cryptocurrency, because I think it is very risky even though it can make a lot of profit. For an investment let alone the long term I am more interested in its value security because I am a little afraid of the fast fluctuations in crypto. Whereas my own opinion regarding small assets has no effect on investment or trading choices, because our initial goal is to make as much profit as possible and what the owner will choose is the decision of the owner himself who understands cryptocurrency.

The strategy that we should depends on the extent of our skills, what do I mean by that? If our skills are more suitable on holding or what they call long term investing then why we will force our self to do trading. Making investment is good but before putting money, we should aware and consider the risks that we are taking. i wont trade that because its hard to make it big but id rather save it  and form a reasonable capital and that would be the time to comeback and engage on trading activity . on your case both trading and investing are equal  . why not do both ? if you only need one then you need to choose even if its hard

Whether this is a good decision or not depends entirely on who you are as a person and what are the characteristics of your personality, for example on the surface investing may seem to be easier than it is to trade but the truth is that you require different skills and abilities, in the case of investing you need to be very resistant to the volatility of the market especially when it goes against you otherwise you're going to panic at the first sign of trouble and sell your coins for a loss.

Trading or investing is a choice that depends solely on the individual.
It depends on whether or not the individual is willing to take risks. Trading involves taking risk simply because no one can accurately predict the move of the market, at least not always.
Besides, one is required to do a lot of assignments before one can start trading. You have all required knowledge and skills so as not to get your hands burnt.
Investing on the other hand is simply holding your investments for a long time.

Very well said and actually I believe one should invest if they are looking to invest in projects that have a solid plan and looks like a visionary product rather than a pump and dump scheme. A lot of people think pump and dump is bad and it actually is, but being smart you can benefit from a pump and dump project by investing at the right time but making sure to divest during the peak or near about it.

Yeah trading can be problematic specially since you already lost in trading and have small amount left because of that it won't pump any confidence into your trading either so better to use that money and go full-in with a good project which has long term vision.

There are traders who are able to get rich thru trading in a short time, during DeFi hype many were able to do it, it will depends on how well we are in trading and analysing projects. It is much safer to invest in BTC but it will be better if we try to explore other projects by studying them first, Holding will depend on what coin we are having mostly it only works now in BTC and top altcoins so we should also be careful once we invest and thinks it good for long term since crypto is too volatile, it can be good now but not for long as there are many coins appearing or improving. Just see the defi projects who are in top list of coinmarketcap now that was not there before. Better set stop loss in trading and be updated always.

First of all, we should understand what small amounts mean. For somy people, 100 dollars is a big sum, whether other guys think that there is no sense to trade with it — too small. If a trader is a beginning guy, he needs experience, and trading smaller sums is better for him.

But if you have the skills to turn a small asset in trading into a big asset, then I think that is a great decision and if you are ready to go through each process I am sure you will succeed in both.
