BitcoinPoker.VIP is a HTML5 web app that runs in any modern desktop or mobile web browser, including Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android systems, so the players have nothing to install on their end.

BitcoinPoker.VIP uses a cryptographically secure shuffling algorithm for dealing cards. An RC4-based stream cipher seeded with a random 256-bit key is used as the random number generator. The key is produced by hashing a seed pool with the SHA-256 hash algorithm. The seed pool is constructed by sampling the CPU's 1.193 MHz high-performance counter. Those samplings occur each time the operating system communicates an internal message to the Server Module, which can be thousands of times per second and is also affected by interaction with the Game Administrator (mouse movements, key presses, etc.)

The deck is represented internally as an integer array from 1 to 52 with 1 representing the deuce of clubs and 52 the ace of spades. Before each hand, the array is shuffled using the highly efficient shuffling algorithm described in Donald Knuth's "The Art of Computer Programming" series of books. In Delphi, it looks like this:

The prng_value function returns a random number from 0 to i-1 from the secure random number generator described above.

I reckon the idea of making your own tournament instead of calling people to run their tournaments on your platform.

There's no need to ask people to have their tournaments run to your poker site. You should be the one to initiate it.

Long time no see a new poker site with Maven Software/Script. I thought no one will be using this software anymore since there were too many sites use the same script but failed to survive although they offered freeroll and some other promotions. This site, offers nothing on launching. I doubt people will be interested to register and play on this site. No offenses, just saying my honest opinion.

You would have full control of giving "virtual money" to your players,  your players cant get the "virtual money" without you giving it to them.

The options / settings for your game can all be set via the poker software.  Letting you get your game the way you want it.

I can for sure allow some free tournaments for bitcoin talk members (ring table games not so much, could do trial). The tournaments would not have full function like being a "host"(ability to control your players play chip balance) gets you. but it can have some pretty nice set up features to match what kinda poker you are looking for.  It would be a password protected game only and someone else would have to prize if thats what they want, i have no reputation here so I couldnt host it with my sites "chips" satoshis just yet.


It would drive traffic to my site and im sure some would want to use it for home games where they can control it more.

Anyone tried joining tournaments already?. I agree with boyptc about who should initiate the tournament to make it much faster in my. opinion rather than asking people to run their poker tournaments on the site and just wait for other poker players if they want to participate in the tournament or not.

It would be good if you could add some sats on the prize pool, however, you can start one competition based tournament where participants have to fund the pool. Make sure you escrow the fund with trusted members. Just my 2 sats. On swcpoker, they used to add prize on the tournaments which I think bring them a lot of promotions.
