All of the definitions had already been mentioned so it wont be that necessary to repeat on whats been said above.
When it comes to definition then it would really vary into each person because not all would really have that the same insight or views towards gambling.
Some would really just be for entertainment but majority would really stick out on money or profit making which is the real fact most of the time.
In the first place, gambling is for the sake of entertainment but due to other benefit or chances that it can give then people are
going in the other path.

To be honest base on my personal experience, gambling will only bring ultimate loss to the poor people because this is one of the worst addiction they can have if they don't stop playing it. because when they lose, they will just look for money to play again in any means or source. I have known some people who work as a laborer about 10 hours a day just to lose his earnings by night in gambling. the worst thing is, some of them are they also lose their source of income, they will sell everything they possess just to play again. You never know what these guys can do if they really have exposure to this kind of scenario and the last thing they do is steal some money or things to sell, just to play and again just to lose.

Gambling is betting with an amount of money for profit or loss. If you are lucky, it will be fun. If you do not feel lucky, it will be just greed!!  The best in gambling is control. And The worst is also the addiction that will make you pay the price, so be careful.

This will vary per person. As to my own purpose is to always get winnings if possible. I'm not into gambling for entertainment purely.

* Gambling for me is something you have the chance of winning the prize or any value, if there is no chance then you're not gambling. Gambling requires that there is a chance you might win something for your bet.

This statement confused me, are there any forms of gambling without a chance to win? Or can you give me an example of what are these things?

Obviously, when you gamble, you always have a chance to win either between 0.00001 to 99999+% success rate.

Also I choose gambling as an entertainment as well. Because I'm not an addict to gambling, I can leave it and I'll come back when I want to play. Maybe it is because I only try to play dice gambling no more than that, I never deposit to bingo, casino and etc. I just comfortable when I play dice gambling especially with in its simple feature, just put my money and see what the result.

You can define gambling according to your own, it is free to describe as long as you know and has been played it for more time. Because I see the definition of gambling will be depend on someone's experience, I mean you will know gambling and tell to anyone what gambling is and how its positive and its negative against it. But you will just make a bad statement about gambling if you never play it or just tend to see the negative impact of it.

Just like now, sports are halted but I don't force myself to still gamble with other games, so I have that discipline and control already.

mean to me ? nothing really different than you  .  im just a typical person/gambler  . like most gambler i play purely to earn but i think every gambling session you can still experience a fun .

Experience is always been the best teacher in all aspects of life, not only applied on gambling but in all sorts.We do become more mature as we experience
more things in life.I admit that i commit some mistake towards gambling and make myself a little bit addicted to it which in result to spend up way too much
and come to a point where i do compromise life savings which is really a dumb thing that do happen because of my decision to let my addiction control me.
We should do thing moderately so that it wont really affect that much because gambling is really just intended for entertainment purposes.

As for what kind of gambler are me, I think this is like, introducing yourself to everyone. Gambling for fun, gambling for money, gambling as a sideline, gambling as etc. I don't see any further discussions needed at this type of subject unless you are collecting data for something.

Definitions of Gambling varies from each person to another. I might say that there's no wrong definition for it because it all depends on the insight of the one who engage with it. Even if someone say "Gambling is life", for some it was too shallow but for him it was very meaningful already .

Anyway, for me gambling is a serious way of entertainment but never a career. It was a poison and antidote in your life at the same time. Everything just depends on how you deal with it. So choose wisely.

Enjoyment playing with the involvement of money is considered as gambling. It there is no money involved, it is just a plain betting or just a normal playing. Whatever definitions it means to us, gambling will still be a kind of fun that we tend to always go back because at the same time we can eventually earn from it.

Well I guess my own perception of gambling also fits its definition, gambling is any kind of participation that involves risking your funds with 50/50 chance of winning. Because from my years of being involved with online gambling platforms, I haven't seen legit gambling that provides higher chance in winning. Who really does right? Houses are meant to win in the long run. Meaning, you really need to risk your funds and to test your luck in order to achieve the grand prize.

I gamble because I want to earn money and at the same time to have fun as well, I think that is what other gamblers thought about gambling. Most of us only consider this us our entertainment or something that will kill our boredom but when the time we really need money, we take risks our money from gambling. We bet, we gamble because we want to make more money.

I don't call myself a gambler because I don't gamble every day, and I don't use my most time to gamble. I used gambling as another activity in my free time, and I don't stay for a long time in the gambling places just to playing gambling games. For me gambling is by definition the act of "chancing" your hand at something where there are different odds of you succeeding or losing something of value. This can be tokens or actual coins or money or digital tokens like Crypto currencies. The odds are always slightly in favor of the person offering you the ability to gamble, because they are doing that to profit. To talk about my personal opinion, gambling is an entertainment method for me. Also, gambling is something that can make money while having fun. Although there is no guarantee in gambling, it is possible to earn money and we can earn it while having fun. For this reason, the best definition of gambling for me is that it is a money-saving entertainment method. On the other hand, gambling is also preferred as a method where I can evaluate my free time.
