What does Gambling really mean to you?

Well, the Dictionary can give a general definition of gambling but all the things that were mentioned above refer to the meaning of gambling. All of us can define it in our own perception because it may differ on how we look at it whether if it is for entertainment or as a source of income. In my own, --gambling is a game of entertainment with the involvement of something that we value will be at stake in exchange of a chance in getting of something that has a higher value. Without wager or betting for a prize then it is not gambling rather a promotion. It definitely differs from trading because with trading it has less entertainment and you take every action seriously though both of these two aims the same and that is profit.

Although there is no guarantee in gambling, it is possible to earn money and we can earn it while having fun. For this reason, the best definition of gambling for me is that it is a money-saving entertainment method. gambling is indeed for entertainment and should really be a stress reliever not a stress creator because we cant really deny that everytime we do lose money we got stressed or becoming too emotional.

Yes, if we have a losing streak, we get stress and there's nothing to recover from that but to chill and find another way of entertainment. So it means if we treat gambling as profit-making and ended up losing then the purpose of gambling as a stress reliever will be defeated.

I hope gamblers knew this thing, especially those who're playing chance-based gambling games, just always make up your mind that it shouldn't be a money-making activity to avoid losing a lot of money.

Well, I learned to gamble when I was 10, and it started with me playing games. It is a bit of surprising, right? Someone learning it from playing with his friends. At first, when I learned it, I thought it is something I could walk into so I can help my parents since at that time we have no house at tall. I don't really mind about the meaning of the meaning if they lose as it will only make other gamblers feeling more broke when they think of the meaning of gambling. Here's my brief definition,

1.) Gambling in general :
Pretty much everything in life is gambling, because there's nothing more certain than death and taxes lol, and everything else is like gambling where the outcome is uncertain but only hopes for good at the end of the day.

2.) Gambling by your own definition :
Is the unnecessary spending of your resources hoping to find pleasure while earning more resources, but has also the chance of lossing everything.

It is something that we should be worried about if we are not in control.

If you can control yourself, still, try to limit yourself from gambling since despite you saying that you are just playing for fun, for excitement or for the money, you are still losing money and time in the long run. I know this is hard for those people that are actually trying to do that and actually addicted to it, but still, keep on trying.

Gambling. For me it is one way of having fun especially if I am bored or if I want to have bonding time with my cousins and friends. Some make this as their source of income especially if they are lucku while others are the same as mine. During this time, quarantine I find it as a source of income by not playing it, by promoting it instead.
