Imagine bitcointalk.org in 2140

2140 is a very big way from now. we all (current members) will die according to our Life expectancy. So better to write in our diary about there is a bitcoin forum during 2020 for the next generation instead of thinking how will the forum in 2140. 

According to Invites & Accounts, where greedy people sell all kind of accounts (hacked, bruted, stolen, own) forum members gonna live forever 

And everyone knows how "all family members participates in bounty" so it wont be a miracle if grandsons will use grandpa accounts. /

Hm, 120 years from now.

Let us see,

All of the members reading this post right now would be dead anyway by that time.

But our successors, lets say children/ grand children if by any means are interested in the BTC then we may give out our account to them.

There will be same picture,

From @theymos to all noobs with their successor gene, having same conversation, same stuff with little or no advancement at all.

Same gray to blue colored theme, same smiley's  etc.

The second is that Vod and TECSHARE will somehow still be feuding from beyond the grave--or if science has progressed to the point where your consciousness can be uploaded to the internet by 2140.  Cryptohunter will probably have quadruple digit numbers of alt accounts by then, and he'll still be bitching about the unfairness of the DT system (or whatever else he can troll about in 120 years).

The current science is too far from storing human consciousness  So I think Vod and TECSHARE really don't have enough time to get it  Speak a little to the idealism, they will still have a feud when they enter the afterlife (hell or heaven). CryptoHunter has a lot of alt accounts, but he's no longer there, someone will inherit it and continue here.
Practically, all of our current users died before 2140.

If anyone often watch science fiction movies, I only wish that humanity could achieve those technologies by 2140. However, first of all, my greatest desire is that the earth be completely clean. At that time, no environmental pollution. Humanity find new sources of energy better.

As for the fate of this forum in 2040 maybe Theymos has a plan for it.

I'm seeing a possibility of Bitcointalk to be surely available in 2140 and during those days, people won't need to actually type their comments but would rather just say it and the forum would do the rest by just moderating your voice as well as the words in it and then autopost it based on the approval of mods. I read a post from theymos saying he was 20 something in 2010 so he is 30 something in 2020.

Normal luck means he has more then 40 years of life to go.

One thing we can all be sure is in 2140 we will be using this same simple machines forum and the new forum software will be under rigorous development.

All of you guys seems to be optimistic that Bitcoin will survive for another 120 years. I don't share the same optimism. IMO, some better technology will replace Bitcoin much before that. Bitcoin is not perfect. As we are seeing in the last few weeks, none of the recent soft-forks have resolved the scalability issue. Also, the PoW algorithm in my opinion is not sustainable in the distant future.

To be honest, I cannot imagine at all simply because my mind cannot perceive what is too far beyond . But kidding aside, I am not sure what would be the system of this forum looks like when that time comes. Maybe there will be a lot of changes like more ways of accessing this forum, new interface or the most requested notification bar lol. Who knows? But one thing is for sure, all of our accounts here will froze forever but at least I became part of bitcointalk's history and I'm already proud of it.

Most people do not go on dollar or Android forums. I guess Bitcoin is deep and wide enough to throw up eternal discussion for a small number, plus scams always need a platform, but the moment it never occurs to any normalton to seek this place out is when we know Bitcoin's really going places.
