Hi guys,

in the past few months I've been jumping around gambling websites looking for casino reviews that give you useful information but don't require you to read an 'essay' to find out the basics. What's your opinion, what kind of reviews look good to you?

Last month I created my own website https://gamblineers.com and so far I used the most straight-forward fact-oriented review style I could think of. Let me know what you think.

Checked out your site and observed that you basically provided links to the best casinos (according to you) and the deposit bonuses with wagering requirements and nothing else. More information is required to help decide where to play.

I advise writing short reviews which don't need to be essays helping gamblers understand what the casino is like when compared to its competition. Details like games, house edge, active years etc need to provided.

Did you view any of the review pages or only the listings? Because there I give more information that you wrote about. For example, this one is for 7Bit Casino: https://gamblineers.com/7bit-casino-review/.

Just "writing out loud" here but perhaps this is another issue: in all my listings I nowhere specifically link to review pages (by putting up a link saying "read review" or something similar) rather the casino logo is the link to the review page. Perhaps that's not intuitive enough?

First, I think this thread belongs in the Gambling Discussion section, which also under on this board. You can move it.

For me, casinos can be rated as usual how trusted they are, especially we are depositing our funds and play on their site. But besides that, I also look at how their casino site looks like and how the experience when you are playing there.
E.g. Responsive on multiple devices, not slow even you have a good internet connection, simple user interface (colors, shapes, texts, etc).

Ok GreatArkansas, thanks, that was great.

For example I could add a "user experience" section to the review describing responsiveness, speed, how easy it is to find your way around the site, visual appeal and so on. Would that be useful enough?

Most gambling websites now are totally responsive when it comes to multiple devices neither you are using pc or mobile phones. Its already coded
with specific CSS meta tag viewport, so theres no issue with this most of the time.

On topic where in talks about what are the things should be listed out? User experience for sure and checking out the review site. This is just an another site that
have their own review and listed casinos arent even that popular or known here on this forum, there are some like Fortunejack and the rest are unheard of.

I like your site, simple and easy! You can add more things of course, your personal reviews, make space for others to say something (that can be good and bad in the same time). What you need is direct links to casinos (normally add you referral link).

I tried many casinos, but king billy casino is new for me! x30 wagering requirement is amazing indeed, I can't remember when I saw that low wagering requirement! And of course I will try this casino, I could sign up under your referral link, but there isn't one! Of course 200 free spins is amazing too! Their site looks good and fast, and I will try this one for sure!

Thanks iv4n, glad to hear! User comments are on my mind but I'm sceptical as you said, it can go either way.

I'm confused though, you should see purple "PLAY" buttons on all pages, the right side of the listing or on top of the review page. Did you view site on desktop or mobile? For example: King Billy Casino Review page (https://gamblineers.com/king-billy-casino-review/) should have a big button on top right on desktop or just under title and ratings on mobile.

Maybe I missed that button, I am on the computer! Well anyway I deposited 0.01 BTC and got the bonus! I am playing already and I can say its impressive collection of games! Well I am at 10% of wagering requirements, but I am down on half a bonus, I got few bonuses on few games but I didn't have luck to hit some big win! I am going down more than up! Anyway I will get my 200 free spins, 20 spins every day for 10 days, so there will be a lot of fun whatever happens, wish me luck! Smiley

How did you come out with the ranking what are your parameters, trustworthiness and very popular among gamblers should be one of the criterias to come out , may I know why Bitvest is not in your list, better check Cloudbet, it has a withdrawal issue, listing online gambling casino with issues  will tag your site.

Hi smyslov, thanks for your reply.

My basic ranking is based on rating (for example top casino listing, if you look at another listing eg. slots, ranking will be a bit different) and rating consists of 2 numbers:
1. average player rating accumulated from other pages and forums which have user ratings (since I don't have my own yet) - 50 % of the rating score,
2. our own rating, which is a bit more complex: First we assign score to different categories by which casinos could be rated (bonus, payments [limitations, deposit, withdrawal times, supported currencies, ...], support, number of games, user experience, ...) and than we take the average of all these scores which represents the second 50 % of the rating.

This seemed to me the most objective way to rate and rank.

I never heard of Cloudbet having issues (at least not more than any other gambling site here and there) but I will keep an eye out, thanks.
