It shows more and more that Binance is the new Facebook. What cannot be destroyed is bought up. Even CZ said something similar.
With regard to CMC, it was clear that Binance would always be #1 there from now on.
But this is unfortunately how the future will look like, that there will be only a few with a lot of power.
New users who are just now entering the crypto market will not care.

They own the business so what do we expect. From how they plan acquiring this site they make sure that it will become beneficial for the success of their exchange. But this is unfortunately how the future will look like, that there will be only a few with a lot of power.
New users who are just now entering the crypto market will not care.
We are witnessing how things can turned if only few will hold the influenced inside this industry, hopefully newcomers will do their homework. |

Hello everyone, Recently, CoinMarketCap changed it's ranking system in regards to crypto exchanges, by some sort of miracle Binance (who bought the Website 6 weeks ago for a rumoured $400 million) is top. What does everyone think about this? Has it broken your trust in regards to CMC being unbiased? Will you stop using their system? Or are you fine with another company investing to grow their reach? Only a bunch of new user will do it, I guess. It depends on what they are here for. Are they here for the technic or for the money? But that goes for newcomers as well as old hands. |

In this case I don't totally agree with you. Before this act took place, if I remember vividly only crap exchanges such as P2PB2B were on top and everyone within the crypto space knows that P2PB2B and its like shouldn't occupy such position, even on coingecko P2PB2B wasn't occupying such position thus showing that something is wrong. With the coming of Binance on board solved this error and I do not see it as punishment but correction of of an error; Binance is the best exchange which everyone knows so that top positions is meant for it and its likes.

Binance is a top exchange and most traders perfect choice but don't think that binance can punish other exchanges because they now acquire coinmarketcap, once binance start giving bad service to customer another exchange will take over, crypto power is from the people, once people turn their back that's the end

Is this about binance making themselves the number 1 top exchange on coinmarketcap? If yes well other ranking websites have binance as the first too, check out coingecko for answers
This is the reason I don't use CMC ever again, in stead I like to support smaller platforms like CoinGecko or WorldCoinIndex there was a lot of reason why CMC has been putting binance back into the top 1 exchange site again especially when it based on the traffic rank and daily trade volume. I guess it's much more accurate compared with the old CMC which has been manipulated by scam project. |

there was a lot of reason why CMC has been putting binance back into the top 1 exchange site again especially when it based on the traffic rank and daily trade volume.
I believe that Binance will come up with other things to make them (Binance) look even better in the light. They will become the new Facebook if the crypto community is not careful. |
