From the poll, at least two users like Megaways, and one user likes puzzle (Jammin Jar or Reactoonz like) slots.
I think users choose based on their gaming experience since you will see low RTP slots getting picked.

They probably don't consider the small bets due to the cost on their system? Well, I don't see why having small bets in satoshi should be a big deal especially in crypto betting, whereas they frequently give out bonuses or free bets.

Without wanting to speak for the whole community here now, at least for me one thing is decisive: The game must be fun, even after the 1,000 run. Recently you see more and more casinos that invest a lot of time in the design of their games, for example Tower.Bet. This of course only applies when I want to play a small number of games, for example to pass the time in the subway.

If I want more classic games with a lot of "throughput" then the casino must support good scripting, as it is the case with bustadice. I do this especially when I want to challenge my luck or try out new "strategies" that you read about from time to time (but of course, non of them works )

In 2020 we shouldn't have to trust the house. We are in the crypto/blockchain era now, and all these types of games should be provably fair now.

There are many casinos that are offering slot games but I personally don't like playing slots because I can't find my luck in playing those. Personally, I don't prefer luck-based casino games and I clearly don't have much knowledge on how play slots to devise a good strategy (if there is one). I will choose the most popular ones because these will the be the most trusted ones too. Winning or losing is a separate thing (based upon the luck factor) but by choosing the trusted casino, i am confident that i won't be scammed by them.

I look for games that have a bonus round and free spins then check the minimum bets for all combinations if it fits my bankroll since there would be slots with very low minimum like 5000 satoshi per spin iirc. Whenever I enjoy a certain slot game I tend to try other games from the same provider because sometimes i'll get discouraged to search for mew games due to the country restriction from a few providers.

For me, there is no specific as long as the website is reputable. And I think gambling site owners already know what gambler wants especially. Sometimes, graphics, layouts, low minimum bet, popularity and many more, but not a priority.

It doesn't matter I guess, there are traditional players who wanted to see vintage slots, and then the new breed of players, wanting to see great graphics more rows x columns games.

Personally, I'll just look at how attractive the game is, minimum bet and then the jackpots. We all know that slots is luck-based games so regardless what company is behind it, gamblers will always try their luck on those slots and see how it goes.

Is there even a set criterion for choosing the slots you want? I mean, generally, the most trusted ones are the ones that are most probably most enjoyed by a lot of people hence it's popularity. I believe there shouldn't be many criteria to judge in since fun is a vague word after all, so just go for those slots that are played in trusted casinos. Winning or losing isn't really a criterion many choose since really, it's gambling, don't expect to see a loophole where you can win as many times as you want.

In my choice though Three reels and Five reels are slots that I've been playing in since forever. I've tried others but the two are quite stuck into me and I quite enjoy them as well. Another plus side for me at times would be the graphics of the game, since a good graphic game is a bit more pleasing in the eye.

I always pick the one with the most jackpot, the reason for this is that I believe almost all the slots have the same provably fair option plus the house edge of the Casino.  So in my mind, there is no difference whatever I choose to play so better to pick the one that will give me the most reward.
