One of the saddest news we heard so far in this community because of the covid-19 pandemic. Wish you that you can recover from this specially from emotional pain.

However, you said that you are very careful and have a back up at home (which got burned) and at your office (I'm assuming that it is still there). So I guess you can go back after everything has settled down and recover your BTC. Wish you all the best and stay strong!!!

It's a huge loss. Covid 19 is killing people mentally also.

I agree with you. Your backup will be der safe do not worry
Stay safe and strong. Bitcoin keys u will get it back

I have read the whole story. And I am so sorry for your loss. This covid virus is really dangerous. Sad to say, if you don't have any back up store in your mobile phone or other paper wallets, then you can not actually get it back.  I know it is hard to move on right now but you have to. You can actually earn or buy another bitcoin and store it again but you can not get back your husband's life.

Do not forget that there are still many people who loves and cares about you , friends and family. Please have a good health.

I can not say anything related to what you experienced, really sad news that I hear for now. I can't imagine the difficulties
and sadness that you experience. Losing 12 BTC and your husband together is really hard, hopefully you can be strong
face all of this. I'm sure you are a strong woman, and can get through this.

First of all, everything will get better, you just need to think of positive thoughts and those who are supporting you in your life. Always think of your family and people who loves you.

In mental health, as this quarantine and lockdown is still implemented, there are people who are experiencing mental health issues and suffering without people's help. Teenagers are the most vulnerable to this kind of situation, young people are more stressed and depressed because they can't go outside to see their friends or classmates. They can't have a bond with other people that's why they can't express their thoughts and emotion literally.

In terms of bitcoin, practice good decision making and cherish the time where you are happy with your life. Things are unpredictable, we don't know what will happen in the next few days, learn how to appreciate things until there are still time for you to value it. Learn how to manage your wallet properly to prevent another losses financially.

Sorry for your loss.
It's really a bad situation in any part of the world.

So, we are in a forum about bitcoin so we should also talk about it.
Is the paper wallet burnt with it?
I didn't see a part of the story where you said it was there with your husband's belongings.
Or did I miss that part?

Also, how did you end up here in this forum while you are still grieving for your late husband?
Do you need some kind of help?

Tragedy of yours might push you to the edge but never try jumping off just because you feel there is nothing left. I know rays of sunshine you will feel again.

Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are treasures. Try to store them seperately.

Your losses will turn out to be your greatest learning experience. I hope you can see the good in everything that was left.

I feel very sorry for you, I understand how you feel, I also lost my dad. Not to Covid-19 though, his case was a stroke. I hope you find the strength to go through this situation, because it's always not easy and you losing your cryptocurrency in the fire is something else.

Paper wallets are really good, but ever since I started investing and making use of cryptocurrency I have never used paper wallets before, I have simply been making use of Blockchain wallet and Coinbase, and I simply have my passwords and two factor authentication activated. I know some people might say it's not safe, well I guess my case is something different.

This is why its a good idea to have your private keys hidden somewhere on a computer. Because what is you lose the paper wallet? house burns down? I think there is probably more people who lose thier BTC due to thier own over security vs people hacking you.

Hoddle long BTC (the mother) and a few others!
