Holy crap--I haven't actually looked at the rules of the forum for a long time and didn't realize there was anything in them about account sales. If I'm not mistaken, there never used to be any official (or unofficial) discouragement and it was only around 2016 when account sales really started to become a problem and very much frowned upon by the community. Interesting.
Well I still can't believed someone will go buy an account that is not originally created by them, how and why would they involved themselves with such deals knowing too well the implication involved buying account that is already been used by another user.
Yeah, well....there are a lot of good (read:bad) reasons why someone would buy a high-ranked account, preferably green-trusted. I think that scam Master-P pulled off a few years ago was done with a purchased account, but my memory might be failing me on that one. In any case, I'm sure you get my point. If you're doing a trade with someone you
think is a trusted member of the community based on their feedback, and it turns out that the account changed hands and is now controlled by a scammer, well, you're screwed.
