Will ask you to install a third party add-ons. There's no such thing as double your bitcoin here. The add-ons might probably steal your Nitrogen password. Do not trust any brand new account.

It's obviously a trap of scam. More chances to have some hacking tools in the addons or something how the user can steal people money who will deposit in this way. I think when I see this type of posts that why they don't use the tricks to double/increase their fund!  why they make it public! So someone can thinks about why they don't use or make it public then I think that person will get trapped in this type of trap.

We shouldn't install any addon if we don't have knowledge about what we are going to install. It would harm us even it would keep role to hack our device. Besides that, sound like scammy to me. Offer something like double your bitcoin within short of time is obvious scam. It's more better to stay away from such as offer. Likely moderators deleted scammer's thread due malicious links.

Another thread was created for promoting this fake addons. Also the user shilling in the thread for bumping with another band new accounts. Maybe the same person created this one after getting deleted the previous one.

I agree that we shouldn't install any third party add-on specially coming from a newbie account. But we can't discount the fact that many are blindly trusting anyone specially if they see that they can supposedly double their bitcoins.

I used to use archive.* in the past, but it is not working on my end that's why I uses web.archive.

There are lot of mirror links of archive .. try suffixing "fo", "is", "today", "vn" after the ".". Hope it works.

As for the mozilla add-on, I would suggest reporting it. There is an option there. TBH I find the add-on with dumb purpose as well. Why would someone trust an add-on when he can just go over the site and participate in promotions in which he is eligible. Secondly, how does this add-on lets you double your coins? A loophole? Promotion entries are checked after the conclusion by the staff members and I don't think they would allow something like that easily.

Looking through the permissions anyone can easily figure out that it is a malicious extension instead:

Reported this as malicious add on to Firefox, hope it will be taken down quickly.
I agree that for obvious reasons, there's no way that anyone can double their bitcoin unless you got lucky playing in Nitrogen win. I'm not sure though if Nitrogen is aware of this, I guess someone needs to notify them so that they can let their users know so that no one will fall for this gimmick.
