Few days ago a guy was looking for CM's in few local boards for a project (topics are deleted now, so can't find them), his TG account is @sande123 , so I contacted him. Project is https://openalexa.io/en/basic# and it is clearly a scam, very bad one as you can see as soon as you scroll through their website.

A very rudimentary Ponzi scam indeed.

I linked the @sande123 telegram address to this account by using an archived version of a previous post:

Seems like this telegram username @sande123 is also connected to sdmax2018, bounty manager  who is also known for account sale. Here is the thread about it with more info.

I wouldn't be surprised if the same guy  is involved in that recruitment for OpenAlexa ponzi scheme.

@OP Here is the archived version of their website, you might wanna add it

Thank you for adding this info, after reading that report and evidence added I think this is enough to connect the dots.

I never take projects or websites that always use direct names and domains of famous or previously famous brands, Projects or Websites.
99.9% of them are always fake, untrustworthy and scam hoping to gain popularity through using a popular name of another brand, projects or websites.

As soon as I saw Alexa as a part of the domain. That was my number one red flag right there.

I'm just sad that my good friend didn't listen to my advice in staying away from OpenAlexa.io. When she opened this up to me and I deep checked, I concluded that it's nothing more than a ponzi scheme due to the "guaranteed" and "matrix" system. At first, she was okay with my advice and may ignore it.

But weeks later, she already told me about her decision in joining and investing in OpenAlexa.io. I just don't know what made her decide to join them instead of listening to my advice.

It's sad that most people are still not obsessed by offering them potential figures of dollars that made them instantly join and invest without even taking time in doing their homework and research about these ponzi scams. "Shiny figure syndrome" is tough to be "cured".

It's really sad that people don't do their little research. And while some scammers take advantage of this opportunity, I've seen many people invest in this way. They don't do research on their own, they misunderstand if someone wants to help them. The most important thing to do before doing anything is to do your own research.

never use domain extension from other admin of the domain, we can easily tell that the owner of the site is not here for a long term and they will just set up a Ponzi and scamming site, if you are using other people's domain especially the big name they can charge you for imitation and your site will be taken down.

We report the scams in hope to help people by providing information to them that they are not willing to research on their own or unfortunately are not educated enough to have basic skills to protect their hard earned money, but your story just shows how some people can't be saved.

I would be much happier if someone comes to this topic eventually and says how this prevented him/her of investing into this scam. Hopefully someone will, but people who invest in scams rarely visit this part of the forum it seems.

Learning about how scams works should be integral part of introducing someone into the world of crypto and investing in general.
