Can someone tell me how to sell 1BTC on this website?

As far as I can make out you send some BTC to your localbitcoins.com wallet, find a trusted buyer, put in your bank details and click on 'send trade request'.....right so far ?

So do they send you the money first ? or do I send them the BTC as I have no trade history or feedback?

They send you payment first. Once you confirmed that you received payment, you can release escrow from which it is held.

Yeah, create an account and just hop around the site. That is the best way to learn.

Free tip: Make sure to tell buyers DO NOT mark anything as paid before you confirm the funds are good. If you neglect to do this, you could have your BTC held in escrow for 24 hours if buyer fucks up the payment. Or gives you a bogus payment.

If possible just deal with someone local and get cash before you release the transaction. Almost every single payment scheme besides getting cash handed to you has methods of scamming and if you are new to selling you will probably not know what to look for.
