Hello guys, If you are looking for a timer with sound when posting then there is a site that let you set more than one timer at the same time. I know a forum user asked me about the thread I translated not too long ago asked me if it could also be used to time your posting for posting interval. I don't know if the sound works in other browsers when using mobile phone but I tested it out on android phone using android version of firefox browser and it works fine. I'm sure this will work in desktop too and other devices. Since the mobile phone's timer can only set one timer at a time and you have to set it up again then this site will let you set more than one timer and start right away after you start the time of the first timer with sound.
Here it is:
https://www.timeanddate.com/timer/

Just click the "add another timer" button then a new timer that you can set and start it after you start the first. Edit is also available.

I hope it helps.

God bless, take care and keep safe.

Do we really need this? Why not post naturally though? I don't see any advantage of it unless you are in a hurry to post? I think most members here are posting and then try to relax a bit and read around the forum and then post on a thread without really having this sort of timer. Of course, you don't need to post burst and you don't need to prepare your post ahead of time. You can construct your post like every 20-30 minutes or even go back after hours if you have something important to do.

It's quite suspicious if someone asks for a posting interval timer indeed. I can't see a reason I'd use such function unless I have to post every X minutes and be reminded for it.. besides the case in which I'd want to avoid burstposting. Roll Eyes

I can’t imagine why anyone would want to time the amount of elapsed time between posts, unless it is to avoid incurring in "post bursting", which may be looked into by campaign managers at some point, as it does occasionally figure explicitly in some specific campaign’s rule set. Even so it is a subjective term, that is not set to a specific amount of minutes, so controlling it will not really add up to much.

That’s probably why there are inherent time limits between posts …:
What are the time limits on posting and the levels??
I know 360 seconds are for new people like me, but was wondering if there was break down somewhere on this.

Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

True, this would only cater to the minority. Not like any post-bursters would like to ever install that thing when it just annoy the hell out of them.

The purpose of this thread is to avoid posting too many times within a short amount of time. My intention is not for helping bounty spammers or shitposters. Thank you for such kind words from a person like you and you can judge me anytime you want whatever reasons you have.

It's something like that.

FYI, you don't need to install such thing it's online and no installing is needed.

The only people who have to "avoid posting too many times within a short amount of time" are shitposters and bounty spammers. You are assisting shitposters and bounty spammers. You don't belong on DT2.

I don't care whatever you say. In what way that I am assisting spammers and shitposters?. You are one of them anyway, you just spam my thread and accusing me of helping shitposters and spammers. Then that means the site I gave help you since you are a spammer.
