First, only mine with these servers if it's allowed

Monero is the obvious choice and the most regular for CPUs miners, it's stable and solid, easy to predict the profits, you can check here how much you can earn, you only have to put the hashrate of your CPU and power usage (not your case) : https://whattomine.com/coins/101-xmr-cryptonightr

And there's some "bet mining", this coin is very good to mine but not so profitable at the moment, people are mining to sell after some time, and you can stake the coins you mined too, so it will increase your final profitability: https://veruscoin.io/

Both are very easy to create a wallet, download the miner, and mine

I am not sure you can find any profitable coin to mine with CPU today.
Even Bitcoin and other PoW coins are less profitable after halving.
Lets see what will happen with ETH 2.0 (people are earning stakes in testnet),
but you can always explore more options outside PoW and POS.

Monero is the most friendly CPU coin you will ever see, CPU hashrates are better with Monero Algorithm called randomX, don't bother looking for other coins, randomX Algorithm will get you covered, the best pool I use is https://minexmr.com, goodluck and happy mining

There aren't many good altcoins you can mine with a CPU, but I would suggest XMR like the others said

Check out BiblePay (BBP) coin, its a dual mine / merge mine with Monero (XMR),
so you gain both coins at the same time (BBP + XMR)! 190% mining revenue!

Learn More: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5226080.0

and with latest mandatory upgrade taking effect in 3 days, mining reward is increasing 40-50%!

CPUMiners Club has a list of CPU Only coins, though its oudated now:

List: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pkp8tfUK70Fs-HsdKL9PJpEcpcYhnMO0cKylyV8QVt0/edit?usp=sharing

The Discord I believe has a more updated list (a channel for each coin)

Right now I believe Arweave is the most profitable for CPU mining.

Give YadaCoin a try! We're listed on SafeTrade. You can mine our coin with our fork of XMRig, a very popular RandomX miner.
