Strange scenario I find myself in recently.

I had a 6970 that has been crunching away mining BTC faithfully for the last 5 months or so.

Recently, it's just taken to blue-screening and "dying" after it warms ups.

None of the video benchmarks (futuremark, etc), nor Skyrim cause it to bluescreen or tax the GPU enough to really heat up enough to bluescreen.

On a related note, I found the 6970 runs Skyrim way better than the NVDA 560 GTX I had installed in my gaming rig prior.

I've gone through both a Zalman and an Accelero fan unit on the card, and it bluescreens @ ~ 65F with either cooler solution installed. I have other cards that are Accelero and Zalman cooled running @ 70F-82F with no problems, so this one card that's "flaked out" on me has me scratching my head as I can game on it just fine.

So, not useable for mining any more, but great for gaming because the card doesn't heat up as much. Anyone experience this before ?
