My 0.1 BTC Journey

I started my journey of gathering btc in Dec 2019, with aim to accumulate 0.1 BTC. After 6 months I managed to accumlate 0.1 BTC. My original intention was to stop accumulation as soon as I have 0.1 btc but now I think I should go for 1 btc.
My suggestion to everyone out there is to invest as much as you can in bitcoin. Since we are in very uncertain situatoon and Bitcoin may be our new savior.

In December 2019, one of my client offered to pay me in btc, just for a trial I accepted his offer. It was just 20 USD but after that my primary mode of receiving payments became btc. Since in btc you get complete payment without any middlemen and within few hours. Honestly I realized benefits of btc after I received my first payment of 20 USD before that I thought its just a buzz word.

now it makes perfect sense. And I have a few questions:

- do you intend to hold for as long or do you intend to sell when the price reaches more than $ 20,000 or $ 30,000?

- do you intend to do day trade in the future?

That's another challenging journey, so good luck. I like how you are so optimistic in the future of crypto and 1 btc is huge enough if we ever gain a massive adoption, at least you got a whole bitcoin and I think that's a good investment plan.

Nice to hear that you decided to accumulate BTC as much as possible. Congrats on your achievement. However, I would suggest you not to share things like this anywhere, not even in this forum. It may make you a target to hack your wallet or even if you hold a big amount, you may be a target IRL.
I recommend you to stay private on such things.

Congratulation, consistency pays. Should another bull run comes upon us and we that are old enough on Bitcointalk don't have substantial to glory about being in the knowing about bitcoin potential won't speak well. I am daily glad been a member of this forum.

It's a smart idea to earn your BTC instead of having to buy from fiat to crypto. Not that it's terrible, but most of the exchanges want to have more fiat. What I think is that the exchanges where you could buy BTC using your credit card, debit, wire transfers, etc., that's when they earn the most, IMO. Not only that, but the KYC private information that you will give just to buy that BTC might not be worth it.

You can surely do it btw. Be consistent, and remember to manage your risks with whatever you are going to do with your money.

Interesting, you should say thanks to your first client who had introduced bitcoin to you. That's good thing you have accumulated your first targets of 0.1BTC and I believe you are going right way. I am happy to see your second target as well for 1BTC, because you have realized the importance of crypto-currency. I will encourage you, besides of accumulation of your second target you should inceese the community by spreading word about bitcoin among with your friend circle. On the other hand reaserch more and improve your knowledge as well.

Mostly, that happens.
They don't realize it yet or even want to earn anything about bitcoin until they receive a certain amount of it.
Due to researching on how to withdraw bitcoin, they became hooked by it and also learn more about the current.

Many will tell you it should just be an investment. But no, someday it will become one of the currencies that will be used mostly by different merchants.
For now, accumulating more is a great process preparing for the future.

That's a logical question? after achieving your journey what would be your next plan and what is your target value? are you going to continue holding just like what you've did after achieving .1btc?

Cool, it's the same story as of me. I have been introduced with BTC by one of my client who wanted me through BTC; although I disagree at the beginning, later started to to dig about it and hence, I'm here in this forum.
Nevertheless, you have accumulated a good amount. I don't want to disclose anything though. I'm saving almost all of my earnings with BTC. Don't think 0.1 BTC is too low; remember, there will be no more BTC than 21 million.

I agree with your suggestion that as much bitcoin investment as we can, because it could be that in the future bitcoin really makes
we are rich. It's true that we also need to have the target bitcoin we want to achieve, after our target is reached, raise the target.

In any scenario saving your bitcoin is still the best option even these days, still, you have the option to sell it at any moment when you see that there is profit to be made just make sure to sell it when the market is on high value.

I don't really hold a big amount of bitcoins since most of the time when I already have a good amount I just spend it into something that could be a good investment. But I'm saving my bitcoin again and I'm thinking to hold it more a long term I just hoping for a pump because of the bitcoin halving.

Once you reach your goal in BTC you will want to have more and more.

It's like a collector's item nowadays. Don't stop if you can afford to continue. Get 1BTC and come back to tell us how it went.

The first rule of investing is to never invest more than you can afford to lose. I don't know how high is your personal risk tolerance, but advising people to invest as much as they can can be pretty irresponsible, it's never a good idea to put all your savings in one place, especially if it's so speculative and volatile.

People shouldn't look at others to decide how much they should invest, no one needs to own 1 BTC or 2.1 BTC or 21 BTC, those amounts are completely arbitrary. Don't try to apply to yourself the standards of western people with their $100k salaries if you are from a third world country.

am i missing something here?if you are a Writer on Blockchain and crypto of course majority (if not all) of your client will pay in Crypto specially BTC so what happens in your past clients?are they paying in Fiat?

Well good for you that you have already gather a 10% of bitcoin so you only need 90% in which 0.9BTC right stepping stone to make a good profit soon .and also why not try to invest spare money inside bitcoin so you can have big holdings if ever Bull run comes.

It's like fiat money, you will never have enough of it. But the most important thing here is that you found value in using Bitcoin as a freelancer. As a freelancer myself, it's so convenient to just use Bitcoin rather than other transactions because there's just too much processes to do. With Bitcoin, just send and that's it. Control over money and convenience.

Welcome to Bitcoin

A word of caution though: if you've been collecting many "small" amounts of Bitcoin, you may be surprised by the fees you'll have to pay if you ever want to send them. If that's the case, it's better to Consolidate your small inputs when fees are low and you're not in a rush to spend your coins.

Also make sure to properly store your coins, don't rely on for instance an online wallet or exchange any longer than needed.
