It has been a long journey and it is a great achievement. Merit is not a simple thing. Merit can only be earned by posting good quality posts through your own creativity. So reaching 10k merit is a very difficult task. And @philipma1957 definitely deserves praise for achieving this.

They were all well deserved. The next goal is 20000 (perhaps too ambitious)... 

Well from 2012 to 2018 no merits then the drop of 1000.

thus 9000 in the last 7 years all earned.

So 2033 and 20k merits along with 100,000 posts.

not sure that I can do 50,000 posts in 8 years that would be 17 posts a day which is not easy.

Oh, that’s really nice, thank you so much for remembering. Three digits really are pretty cool. I’ll only have one more chance before becoming legendary, (if I manage to get there  ) Which is 999. Well, that number of meters still makes me quite happy to this day. I never thought I’d reach that amount. Merits are always hard to earn, but little by little we reach our goals. One day, who knows, maybe I’ll become a legendary too
