It should be the institutional investors but what about the personal investors? What do you mean about using crypto while you have stated that if the institutional investors were investing in the crypto rather than try to use it? It looks contradicted.

With that impressive run everyone knows what potential bitcon and crypto holds as an investment and most of the people are also investing while using crypto. I for an example invest most I can while also use crypto to buy simple things like gift cards, mobile airtime and domanins and hosting because it's easier for me here than dealing through my bank. With the sideways market, we still have plenty of time to stake our holding.

They are not using it when they lock cryptocurrencies for staking or lending, it is form of investing - they just only want to multiply their investment income.

Weird that staking, lending, and borrowing are not counted as investing? I thought people only do that cause they want to increase their initial fund but other than trading or investing in IEO.

Isn't Staking, lending, and borrowing is a form of investment? because staking is investing into an altcoin to gain profit by multiplying your coins, lending is letting other people borrow your money to gain profit from interest, and borrowing is taking other people's money or borrowing to make it grow.

Although this type that you've mention is in fact investing, there are people who really use Bitcoin not just in investing. For example, there is an app here in my country that let's you use Bitcoin as a gateway payment to buy things online or pay for bills, credits, etc.

Interesting facts indeed, but the title is misleading and you probably are just promoting that site.

Is this about your introduction to crypto fund managers? Even if that sounds good to others, I'm good at managing my own portfolio and cryptocurrencies.
Whether I take some losses, I don't have anyone to blame but me alone and if I gain, I don't have to pay anyone with a commission. But, correct if I'm wrong with what I have said.

I think it falls in the same bracket with what crypto currency is all about, which are buying, selling (Trading or investing), staking, lending, and borrowing.
It falls in the same line, and why would you say it is not an investment ?

If i buy 1000$ worth of eos for staking, would you say it is not an investment ? Do have a rethink.

Not used on investing? I think the category you mentioned are all form of investment. If we say we are using it, the actual meaning of it is using it like involving in p2p, buying certain services, ot product paying that particular coin/token.

Weird that staking, lending, and borrowing are not counted as investing? I thought people only do that cause they want to increase their initial fund but other than trading or investing in IEO.
Nope, OP does not understand the true meaning of investment. But I commend him for sharing the data that most or significant details for lending anf staking arr majority from US. I am not shocked, we all knew how US loves investment, though their authority is stricting them.

Well it makes sense, after all this is crypto world and we are a big part of financial markets and anyone who doesn't look at us is missing out a lot. I personally feel like maybe we could do even better if we give it some more time. Wait for the next 5 years, we are going to be standards in all hedge funds and all investment banks. Everyone will have a good portion of their money in crypto.

I am not saying 50% or whatever, that is too silly to think, but it is not unexpected to say 1-5% of all funds will go to crypto overall. Mostly bitcoin of course, because that is the main one and the one everyone considers to be the greatest. However as you can see the other ones are starting to get more attention as well, specially ethereum since that is a very good blockchain backed one as well.

It is not an exaggeration to see BTC in the first place, that is why if someone wants to invest in any coin, he thinks first about investing in BTC. When l read all of the comments like everybody it is just interesting for me. Lending, borrowing, or staking are not part of investing? Is it not counted?

Really nice statistical platform, i would jave loved if we could have seen the names of hedge funds as well, if you have such a list do post that as well. Regarding this crypto fund market i think it is just getting started and in couple of more years this market will grow big especially when even small countries and their fund managers will start offering this product.
