It's absolutely false.. It seems the scams these days are much more than the ones of previous years and it's getting worse. Most projects have now recognized that they can use hunters and dump them while getting away with it and it seems this is now the order of the day. Recently, digitalbits doled out the worst of scams on bounty hunters. After making them wait for over 1 year, they blatantly refused to pay and the worst is, nothing has been done or an action taken against them. It's a cruel situation we find ourselves. Only the legitimate and those with intergrity are actually paying hunters for job done.

Scammers won't leave this space easily because there are many people who don't care reading the manual before operating the engine, this is why scammers scam people easily, newbies who don't take their time to do research will surely take the wrong step

^^Nicely said. They miss out all the advices, warnings and research regarding competent managers and go up joining any random bounty campaign where they find a good token allocation. Always manage bounties with good history of successful bounty campaigns. Such managers always chooses good projects and do proper research before taking the managing job.

There used to be a lot of bounty scams and I decided not to post them since August 2019. I was very disappointed to see the bounty in 2019. A few days ago I met one of my friends who said that if there are fewer bounty scams now, is that true?
I now decide to join the signature that I use now

Have you asked you friend about the names of these successful bounties he or she mentioned to you? And who was the bounties manager? Probably this  will help you find your way round this big city called "Bounty City". There are still questions about bounties on this forum and it will be difficult for anyone to answer your question. Scams are been reported on daily basis on this platform due to scamming, also, many bounties conducted from the 2018-2019 even till now can't be seen as successful bounties with 50%. If you're interested in bounties mate, kindly carry-on the bounty and "do your own research"  because you can't speculate the end of any bounty right now as this industry is concern.

projects in 2020 are not so bad when compared with the previous year. Currently there are many good projects that have sprung up in this forum. even most high-ranking users participate in signature campaigns. but I'm not saying that project fraud doesn't exist.

Yeah, it seems like market has slowly been improving and people are now quick to report scam proje ts and bounties or even if there are any red flags or complains about a project or campaign, this has kind of discouraged scammers and that is why we are seeing less bounty campaigns now but looks lile most of them are legit, i am hopefull bounty market will improve more in coming days with bigger rewards too.

It is not really true, many bounties are scams nowadays. However "scam" is not really a common thing in everyone's minds, many people say many different things for what they believe a scam is, and that is why almost all bounties are scams. Something regular old taking your money and leaving (in this case mostly taking your hard work) is scam, and that is the only way of scamming, some thing if they pay late, depending on how late, it is a scam, some say if there is changes along the way during bounty, that is scam.

I can list a million different ways but in the end even when you get all of the tokens you are promised but it plummets, some say even that is a scam, that is why it is hard to say if one thing is scam or not since it all depends on what you consider to be a scam.

Yes, we started to see scam projects in campaigns as scam projects have increased recently. As I said before, the only thing that needs to be done to avoid such campaigns is to do research about that project before participation. We spend time on these campaigns, so before participating, analysis and research on the project is required, just like an investor. For example, I have not supported the campaign of almost any scam project lately, as I am generally participating in campaigns by doing research. I recommend everyone to do so and earn in this way.

Your friend might be lucky on choosing good bounties but we can’t say yet that the volume of scam projects was lessen and maybe scammers just ship to another way of scamming people. We have to differentiate the good bounties from a bad bounties so we can know when to participate and when not to participate, we experienced a lot of shit projects before that can make us more better on finding a good one today.

I don't know, this really really depends on everyone's experience. We know that there are a lot of bounty campaigns, it makes all the biases, a good project is not guaranteed to give a fair reward according to the initial rules, often changes that lead to drama.
We just need to lower expectations and be prepared to face risks. Good luck and get fair rewards without drama.

There are still many bounty scams and the reason why it seems to be few by people is because of the huge job done by some members of this forum in exposing scam/plagiarism project. But, a project been scam doesnt have to do with fair bounty reward since the allocated tokens is delivered.

Yes. Bounty scams will never get less in amount as there are a lot of newcomers in the market that are easy to deceived by those scam bounties because they still lack the information about the risks in entering the crypto market. But thanks to the good people in the forum who has traced the bounty scams before it can get another victims and steal their hard earned money.

I want to draw conclusions like that.
I try to think positively despite many bounty scams nowadays. Although the project was successful, often the dev team changed the rules, for example, the allocation was reduced, the distribution was delayed or divided into several phases, the reward was locked, etc. It's really not fun, especially if the project is successful and successfully attracts market interest so the price is good.

I sometimes get embarrassed, the bounty hunter is often blamed if there is a dump, that's a reason often used to change rules. Although they have the right to do so, but they should determine it in advance if they are afraid they cannot anticipate a dump from the sale of hunters.

It will never happen as when there was no regulation that prevents scammer to scam people in crypto and I think scammer will always exist. The good managers have been preventing scammer to disrupt the bounty activity.
Dude' it's much more about awareness that has already created by so many people for the hunters or investors.

I strongly agree that bounty scams in 2020 are less than in 2019. Even so, the bounty payment is now very small, so the tokens that
I get from the bounty I decided hold until the price goes up. Because many predictions say that 2021 will be the year of the rise of
cryptocurrency. It is estimated that in 2021 bitcoin and altcoins will rise to reach all time high prices.

Have you asked you friend about the names of these successful bounties he or she mentioned to you? And who was the bounties manager?
he said HEX and he managed to make quite a lot of money and the bounty manager of the project was "Bounty Detective" so I tried to examine some of the bounties handled by "Bounty Detective" and found a HOMT that looked good

Same as what I think and do! I also hold the tokens and wait until it gets raised. I agree that bounty scams are less, though, there's still a lot of risks in this cryptocurrency market that you have to be aware of! Doing bounty takes you a lot of time, therefore, don't let yourself be desperate by involving in some scam projects.

The sad truth is most of bounties scam now, there is no change. The amount of scam bounties and projects are increasing everyday. Even though the token is traded on exchanges but they do not pay bounty hunters. Many projects like that.

It is so easy to get followers and have free tasks by creating bounties. Or giving 5% portion of your total coins to bounty marketing. Scammers see this opportunity to get free tasks by creating fake bounties just to promote something or creating microtasks for bounty hunters.

To stay away from scammers check if they have:
* a website, a good one, containing their teams, and explaining the business they can provide.
* a whitepaper, read their whitepaper if they have
* checkout if their team is visible , existing and communicating with their community.

Bounty scam? that means bounty does not pay their bounty hunters. right? If you think in this way then I will say most of the bounty Pay their participants. that means they are not scam?  Smiley Yes, it's right if you think in this way.

On the other hand, I will say in your question that most of the projects are now scam. Because maybe they are paying people who join their bounty campaign. but the payment has not much value or the value is really very small. after collecting huge money from investor they don't add their project in exchange, even they start to work according to their road map. Better to investigate before joining in any bounty campaign.
