Bitmex Warning: Withdrawals suspended. Banned from Chat. 600 Bitcoins stuck

Dear Bitcointalk Community,

following warning for all Bitmex users. My Bitcoins withdrawals are cancelled and suspended and I am banned from the Chat since Monday 25.05.2020 without any reason given from Bitmex so far.

Bitmex Support is not responding so far beside one guy I reached out in the Russian Telegram Chat just writing to wait for someone else responding me.

So beside writing a support ticket,
- I wrote an e-mail to support@bitmex.com
- I called the phone number: 001-800-517-3111 which appears on google when searching for Bitmex, 3 times without someone responding.
- I tried to reach staff Members directly on IRC, Telegram, Twitter without anyone responding.

The situation is very stressful for me as I don´t have access to my Bitcoins since Monday and I don´t know how to solve this issue as Bitmex is not very responsible.

It is more then a week now and meanwhile Bitcoin is pumping I still got nothing from Bitmex and my Bitcoins are still frozen.

Taking more than a week to respond isn't unusual, but in any case...

Lawyer up. This is a life-changing amount of bitcoins. If they are not responding, consider making noise all over twitter, reddit and elsewhere, too, unless you have reasons to believe making noise could hurt your case (usually it's the other way around). You can also buy ads on bitcointalk, denouncing BitMEX as a scam, or pay people to wear appropriate signatures.

I saw your post history you have created a lot of topics regarding the Bitmex exchange platform which is for me also doing shady activity since then. I suggest to compile them all in one thread or one of you have been created move to Scam Accusation board. Making a lot of threads will result to spamming.

Since you have a valid proof against them.

You may also visit their ANN thread but it seems their representative there isn't recently active.

Dear malevolent, thank you for trying to help me. I think I am still not at that stage to go so far against Bitmex. I hope they will at least have some conversation with me and tell me what is wrong with my account.

Dear Sheenshane. Nothing shady here. I closed the first thread and started this one, because the first one was created without "self-moderation". Unfortunatly a scammer with too much time hijacked my thread too push his personal agenda. I am also not familiar with this board, so I misscreated one thread I could not remove as my own. By the way I am open to have an interview or what ever if a moderator or a journalist is willing to know more about my case.

Firstly he claim that 100btc was stolen then 600.
Soon as I offered him unlocking service with BITCOINTALK escrow to keep the coins hes going to pay me AFTER the unlocking service, he start acting insane and calling me with bad names...

You can't release bitcoins frozen by an exchange with an "unlocking service". Especially considering you said this:

I can post public the telegram conversation with the guy if there is any doubts in my words...

Looks like you are the one who is trying to scam him. Not describing your method to him = you're just going to disappear with his money. Now stop derailing this thread please.

This is a sad part of cryptocurrency trading. All is well until they lockup your funds and support starts playing dumb. I know the stress and pain you are going through. Maybe try to tweet or DM their CEO Arthur Hayes on Twitter. I know this loooks like a desperate move but there's nothing more to do because you have tried all you can.

1. Name me a single escrow provider in this forum whose willing to hold that much BTC for you. (spoiler alert: you didn't ask any of them did you. You had a whole month)
2. Who the hell wants to pay someone to recover their frozen bitcoin in an exchange?

You think your unlocking service can just hack Bitmex or send a legal letter to them and get his bitcoin out like that? It's impossible.

Why are you being salty? From what I remember, OP refused to use your "service" so why force the issue if you even had any good intensions?


OP, how far with your problem. Did you get your BTC?

Just wondering if the op has found some resolution on his case with the exchange since the time of this post, maybe they have reached out to him and help in resolving the case, 600 btc is a lot for an exchange to freeze up without any concrete reason why, hope his account is not suspicious of any shady stuff, 
I thought bitmex is one of the reputable exchange around.

They have announcemeant thread here but they are not active for answering question even their Ann they are not giving any updates years already

Its been a month since you experience that problem I think its better to open an accusation already so they can hear your voice as long as you can prove anything with your claim.
