You know in a short summary, everyone has to be careful of every crowdfunding program, either ieo, ico or even sto, lto or imo that trended well.
They all have their own consequences in the crypto currency world, either you trade or buy ieo.

Always do your research, and remember that if you are negligent, you will run at loss for even top exchanges ieo.

 I haven't studied scammers since the fall of Bitcoin. I think that ICO easier for fraudsters to misinform investors. IEO is more reliable because it's supported by the exchanger. IEO is easier to check for scammers. Now thinking about this post because of a possible loss of funds

hmm, that is true because most ico are scam but present  themselves as good and healthy investment that people worth to invest but on the long run its zero, so most them did not investing in. To some extent IEO is preferable but it's has limit because scammers have flood every where now, so we should caution so that we won't get scammed

Joining projects from top exchanges does not guarantee that the IEO won't end as a scam.  There are lots of projects, especially that were conducted on Binance that runs a pump and dump scheme.  They may not be running away, but their method of milking investors and the unsuspecting victim is the same as scamming them of their money. They made them believe that the price of the said token is really skyrocketing while they are the one who is pushing the price and when enough attention and buy support is accumulated, they will then dump their stash and exit.

you were right in all of it but still IEO is high risk specially to the newbies who just made an entry here with their unfiltered excitement. So better to suggest not to participate any of what we consider safe until they are fully aware of the possible risk.

That is why IEO tokens or coins are not good enough for long-term investment. Since we already know of the pump and dump scenario, we must immediately sell it on first-day trading. If not then we will lose a good opportunity. We must be able to adapt to existing trends, this is to maximize profits.

Thank you for giving all of us advice about ICO investment projects that are bad and not worth to following. To be honest, what you say
is indeed a fact, because I have been investing in ICO projects since 2019 until now indeed proven scams. And that is still profitable with
investment in IEO projects, but with the provisions of join IEO projects from top exchanges only. Such as binance, kucoin, okex, huobi

That only means that even if IEOs are legit, most of them still have the same fate as ICOs.
So wherever you invest, you should do a thorough evaluation whether to put your hard-earned money or not.
IEOs are not guarantee that you will make profit or get your initial funds back especially those that are held in secondary exchanges.

What else why OP would mentioned that? ICOs have a dim nightmare for everybody, and its okay to voice out and warn others how time and money will be wasted if we put our funds on ICO especially those new projects. IEO help us identify these scammers but even on IEO there are scam projects proven on their list. Im talking about IEOs on some shitty exchanges such as latoken and probit. I am bit sad that these exchanges still accepting projects that are proven scam, maybe the money will do the work for these markets but not reputation for users. Being wise, dont ever invest on any ICOs now. We are in a new era and 2017 and 2018 era of ICOs are long gone.

Are you mistaken? I have never seen projects that fail when implement IEO at these exchanges, they are the best exchanges and the projects that IEO is there are the best.

ICO has begun to be displaced by IEO and new projects prefer the way of IEO to sell its tokens. The most interested IEO is IEO organized by large exchangers such as Huobi, Okex or Binance and many small exchangers who do IEO cannot be as successful as the large exchanger. Investing in ICOs needs to be vigilant because they are prone to fraud and should invest in projects that do IEO in large exchangers

Initial Mode Offering ( IMO ) is a big Fundraising scam, I invested in IMO Token, around 200$ and I got 7000+ tokens, today the tokens worth 25$, only God knows what caused the huge price dump and I've also heard about few projects that turned scam after many invested in them e.g HCE project on IMO

The "IMO" as a concept is different than IMO as a token. If about IMO token, I don't know anything about it. I can only say be very careful if you want to invest in any token.
Like others have said, if you are sure that you have been scammed, and have proofs, then you can make a thread on the "Scam Accusation" board.

Regarding your loss, well, it's not the end of the world. $175 is easy to get if you work seriously.

I don't trust ICO projects of any kind. All of them are scams and want to steal money from investors, I only trust in IEO of the major exchanges. There I could make a profit if I joined successfully

I know that there is nothing wrong in warning these newbie stupid investors who are willing to invest in new projects for the sake of profit.

On the other hand, many users are giving warning to these kind of people already but still there are some newbies who are getting scammed. Giving warning to these who doesn't following your warnings is very tiring and the only thing to do right now is to let them be scammed so they will learn something. We came from being a newbie too and we experienced bad things when it comes to investing. I'm not scammed by these new tokens as I'm not investing into this kind of projects but I don't want to give any warning to these anymore because they aren't learning from their mistakes.

Lets just stop giving warning to these and let them learn the hard way. Let them experienced the feeling of getting scammed so that they will be the ones to decide if they will continue to invest without any knowledge on it or not.

At this point people should be cautious when investing in IEO projects, even if they are listed on big deals. IEO is showing that they are no more than ICOs, it is best that everyone should invest in a project because that project is good, should not invest in a project based solely on advertising.

I still want to look on the potential of the project and the developers behind the project, because listing in IEO cost a lot for the developers,a good project has a dilemma at this point in time they prefer ICO but investors are not keen on looking on projects that is using ICO as it's structure, IEO is still preferable.

it is true that ico is not very desirable because there is no guarantee that the project will be listed on the exchange, whereas ieo has already partnered with the exchange.
but still there are still successful ico even though the opportunities are not as much as before.
