I wanted to ask the community which you think are the emerging altcoins of 2020.
We are already halfway through the year and can we have an idea of what the revelations of 2020 were, or was it a weak year for altcoins?

Ethereum will be holding second position until another strong smart blockchain. Ethereum 2.0 will fix the second position this year. Even Ethereum could dominate over 15 of the total coinmarketcap. By this we can expect that altcoins session will come next year. After the 3rd quarter next year, you can't predict the price of altcoins.

Personally I believe that ETH will remain stable at No. 2 for many years to come. There is no altcoin that can surpass ETH, and soon we will see ETH 2.0 a great move for this project.

Ethereum for sure if 2.0 Proof of stake implemented . About scalabilty and transaction Speedd ADA ( Cardano or Tezos ( XTZ) are making buzz still i am not fond of this coin . Holding some Tezos , ADA . IOST aslo looks promising . SOme of the Exchange token also in my list mainly BNB Binanace token ( Because of its own Blockchain) . KCS Kucoin shares Because of most active and attactive exchange .

Personally I believe that ETH will remain stable at No. 2 for many years to come. There is no altcoin that can surpass ETH, and soon we will see ETH 2.0 a great move for this project.

as a rating may be the same. but when you see the popularity and market interest, ethereum might be replaced by other potential assets. for the last time, we have seen transaction costs from the ethereum network which has increased somewhat as usual. hopefully, this won't burden the traders of ethereum assets.

and prices are still very low, Ripple, Waves, Ethereum, are still at the bottom

I would like to hear reasons for your recommendation, from where you took that BCH is one of the best coins to invest right now? From all  good projects out there, from all the decentralized projects you chose a fork! I can't understand why?
How can we separate emotions when we invest, how can we invest in projects with leaders like Roger Ver is? When you invest you need to believe in the project, that is closely connected with emotions, don't you think?

I think so but at least it's better than we see nothing from altcoin. Some altcoins have already touched the old ATH caused by this pump. We may understand if this another bullish trend for altcoin.
Major coins much more difficult to touch its ATH.

I still go with ethereum because i believe it's still the most trusted altcoin this year particularly with its upgraded version Ethereum 2.0 which has more benefits to offer in the blockchain technology. I didn't even think LTO can be included in the list as a potential project. The main thing is this year so many altcoins were getting huge increase and some of them even got more than 300% increase. That's an incredible thing that didn't happen last year, this year is for altcoin.

We really have different preference, it might a good coin for you but its not for me and not included in my list to invest this year.

Im not certain what coins could give us huge profit for having good progress and price increase but I hope eth is one of these coins to soar high in the future.

I see altcoin which has a high total supply often occurs with drop price. Even to the lowest point. I think investing in altcoin should pay attention to the total supply. I also chose altcoin at a low price at the moment, but a little of the total supply. Investing altcoin now will definitely make you riskier, and it is best to wait for some more time because surely, in the next few months, the market will have a huge collapse. The value of the top altcoins will also be adjusted. I hope that all investors will understand this and have some patience to decide. I will only buy when Bitcoin's price returns to $8000 because it is a very good price for you to invest.

after looking at the BTC price chart it looks like the crypto market in 2020 is showing value again. especially with BTC prices and some of the other top altcoins, starting to experience an upward movement.

I think shortly we will see a BTC pump with an Altseason consequence when it settles in the new price range. I agree with you that many altcoins are anticipating and already increasing their value

If this month bitcoin can surpass $ 10,000 and is stable then I believe that Bull Run has really started. Of course, it's all connected to btc trend...by the way I think that if btc will dump the price of alts will increase in the pair with btc. Still eth is the best altcoin for me BTCH doesnt match the stability of Ethereum
And ethereum are just proportion to BTC when falling and recovering but it is slowly pumping its own price even thought We all encounter the pandemic.

its growth is indeed better. but it's still far from what many people expect. bitcoin has recovered pretty well, but for altcoin, it looks slow in market growth.

well what did you guys expect on altcoins  ? of course they are more weaker than compare to bitcoin  .  btc is infact got weaker too this 2020 because many bad things happened  that affects thier value     .

 people always expect more  . they expect higher price which can be hardly achieve by the coin that  they chose  . and whats good with this year ?  not the price for sure ,  but maybe the awareness of people about cryptos have growned alot   .
