Bitpay card disappeared from app

Has anyone else (I'm in the US) had their Bitpay card disappear from the Bitpay app? I placed a successful order with the card just as recently as yesterday. But today it's gone. It's just replaced with a tab that tells me to get on the waiting list. I see on their site "Say hello to the new Bitpay card". But did they just remove everyone's currently active cards (or just mine Huh

I never use their service yet, but have you tried to check their website, considering you'referring to their mobile app?

I didn't see any social media of their announcements regarding this issue.

No, mine is still there, BUT it's buried under a large ad / image for the new card.
Could be a screen size / resolution thing based on your phone / tablet.
I am guessing that if mine was any smaller or lower resolution screen I would not see the debit card at all.

I think it's just me, but they haven't explained why.

They told me I probably got logged out, to hit the gear icon (yes, in the app) and scroll down to the card and try to log back in. That is, re-associate the card to the app.

Well, I did that but it just gives the bouncing 'b' logo then an "Oops..." page.

Today the card is completely missing so I can't even re-add it.

Have you tried to update the app to the latest version?
They recently updated to 10.0.3 version last June 1, 2020, according to their apps. So try to update your Bitpay app it might solve your issue.

Also, check your devices and maybe there is something blocking your card to show on the Bitpay app it might be antivirus or any apps that preventing it Bitpay card to show.

Or maybe the app is totally corrupted and you might need to uninstall and install a new one.(Make sure you have a backup if you are going to reinstall the app.)

Just did a test on another phone with a smaller screen. Popup totally covered my card. Once I did click notify me it went away and I could see it.
Someone on the UI team needs a slap upside their head.

Side note to this. The old BitPay Visa card is going away. The new MasterCard that they have been talking about is replacing it.

You will not be able to LOAD more onto the old card after July 31st 2020
The old card will STOP WORKING December 31st 2020

I wanted to start using bitpay card, but now I want to know if their support works fine or not before I even sign up on their platform

Yes it works, and yes support does answer. But, as I posted above you can only load the card until the end of July and have to have it empty by the end of the year.
The new card is not shipping yet so unless you ordered the Visa and have it in hand it's probably not worth it at the moment.
