Personally I don't like giveaway, because you'll not 100% got it and I never win any giveaways till now  . Let's say 1000 users participate in same giveaway, your chance are only 0,1 % to win it (100/1000)

And what's interesting is that one would think that many people would participate in a giveaway with such a big prize, but that wasn't the case. Only about 10 people actually participated! Hi Karl, I understand from where you are asking this question. Probably you want to design interesting promos for the existing players of your casino or want to gather more players in your casino. But you need to understand that different types of giveways appeal to different segment of people. Let me show my analysis,

1. For existing players-
Gift cards, gadgets, tickets or trips works best for such players. Because they are your existing players and you have already won their trust. It's just a matter of retaining them. So offering rewards like these are more appealing to them

2. For increasing market penetration -
Free bets and bonus money works better for these segment of people. Those who have not played in your casino, may be able to develop trust if they get to test your casino for free. So here free bets and bonus money works better.

It's all about user experience at the end of the day. But you need to understand your players in a better way for better conversion and retention.

I guess anything for free will work for me to get into gambling even I have forgot a particular house. I'm saying this because after receiving some bonus from one particular casino, I started gambling with them again after a long break. So, I guess it would be much better to remind about the existence of such a house by sending me mails time to time so that I may keep on gambling with them . Honestly speaking, Giveaway of tickets, travel and gadget will be awesome and my most preferred kind promotion. From that option, I think bonus money and free spins will satisfy people who want to play gambling because at least, that will be useful for people who visit on the gambling site in their first time. That person can check on the site, find the games they search for and I think they will be happy to get bonus money or free spins. But if both bonus money and free spins can be given to them at the same time, that will provide another happiness to them before they deposit their money to play more.

Free spins are the best for new players! and I think for existing one too. Giveaways like cars, gadgets are good but as a player I am not really hoping that I would win on that cause it's really almost impossible to win those. What I can suggest is rakeback base on percentage of winnings of the player or their wagered amount. I forgot the casino but their promo is if you are winning you will win more! Your rake-back is base on your winning and It's really good since if you win a lot and then, loss, you will still have a money to keep.
