Are there any freelancers/work-from-home that came from the pandemic who's using crypto to receive payment? There may be a lot in this forum since this is crypto-based but I'm wondering for the rest of the world if they do that.

Since blockchains are public ledger and data is immutable, anybody can look up your transaction history and see every single transaction you’ve ever made — who they came from and where they went to. Furthermore, they can piggyback on the addresses that you’ve interacted with or have interacted with you to see their activities. Giving anybody your address was not only showing not only enables them to see your net worth, it also enables them to figure out who you worked with and when.

Businesses can instead use transactional privacy for users while creating mechanisms for accountability through identity providers and anonymity revokers. This will enable businesses and users to adapt on-the-fly through tailor-made solutions for all their compliance needs.

What can help the fast-growing number of digital no mads in 2020 to adopt to crypto, together with their bosses?

You should visit the service section of this forum and you will see so many people were working from hom but they were getting payment in bitcoin or altcoin form.

I remember someone suggesting Latium on this forum. I did give it a visit (no digital art or anything related Sad ). You can work on small tasks or projects and get paid in crypto or fiat (depends on the person who hires you). Though, to get and bid on most of the task, you will have to have a verified profile. So, not much of a privacy the OP is looking for.
People on the forum were also saying other to be careful, since there are also "fake" projects or tasks that don't either pay or rejects your work for no reason.

Many freelancers not just on the forum but in some other forums receive payments from their employers through bitcoin or any preferred altcoin. In crypto subreddits, you'll see some freelancers offer themselves to work for others and indicate that they are good accepting bitcoin and other good cryptos. It's going to be in the mainstream as soon as a lot of companies see that it's a better payment option and doesn't have to go through third party providers and can help ease lower fees.

Freelancers may not be worth too much and the one who have millions no need to receive payments from anyone, even if they want they knows how to hide it from other's view. And people may already know who you are before hiring you for tasks because we are not going to hire randoms for more personal tasks so no need for privacy in that case.

You should take into account of every transaction or payment to freelancers or work-from-home employees that need to keep track under expenditure budget for company or business. This means payment in crypto usually frowns upon by accountant since their business involved deep in banks for tax and other things. Maybe for small business or personal project but for the normal white-collar business that only occasionally need help from freelancers, I don't think crypto will growing in use among them.

other than Reddit there is also other freelancer website that you can be payed in crypto or other online payment that you wish to receive .

They are mostly looking for social media professionals that can help them to promote a channel or website for their business.

I think when you have expertise that can provide convenience for many people and can be useful in various types of world, then you can do that and you can use cryptocurrency as an option to make your payment when you have done your work.

Yes there are. The popular before is xbtfreelancer.com but it doesn't accept any new registrations and people rarely post job openings there so it's no longer a useful platform. This is one[1] of the most active freelancing sites that I've found. I know that there's also many of them but it's up to you to find them.

No one knows identities of people behind the addresses, so it's not exactly easy to track someone. If it's a coin that works on the UTXO model, like Bitcoin, then users can and should use addresses only once, ensuring that they can't be easily tracked by linking their transactions. Privacycoins like XMR have strong privacy guarantees on the protocol level. This problem of tracking accounts is most notable with coins like ETH that implement account model. Users should be discarding used accounts as often as possible to prevent the buildup of history. Luckily people create as many accounts as they want, but few people bother to change their accounts regularly.

Back when crypto/blockchain wasn't mainstream as it right now, I remember freelancers could choose to receive payment in crypto. Few youtube networks make payment in bitcoin back then too. I think the biggest obstacle for crypto to back being popular among freelancers is volatile. Though stablecoin could be the replacement.

Blockchain is a public ledger indeed but there are some simple steps you can take to hide your traces and increase your anonymity.
If you suspect that someone is tracking your transactions then you can use mixers which will break the connection between your address and the employer's address. You can also agree to make payments using privacy coins like Monero or Zcash.
Also make sure to never use the same address more than once and to not disclose your personal information when it's not needed.
