This is not going to last forever that is true but that doesn't mean that there are not going to be long term effects on people, I still maintain my position especially when it comes to the literacy rate, schools do more than babysitting the kids for a few hours, having a teacher in front of them forces them to learn but that is not going to be the case if they are taking classes on their computers, they are going to get easily distracted and avoid their homework and I say this because I'm already seeing this in my country.

kids today are more interested in watching youtube and games. there isn't even a social life for these kids anymore but just watching youtube and playing online games. this is why this pandemic has to end soon when finally a vaccine is created. its best for kids to really go sit and listen to teachers doing the lecture because its going to help the attention span.

That is an image that demonstrates what I am trying to convey, online classes sound really good but when you begin to see the implementation of it you begin to realize that it is a mistake, we need to get the kids back to the school as soon as it is safe to do so otherwise we're going to see a very important drop in the intelligence of the generation that was just starting out assisting to school and if something is not done to properly teach those kids most likely the effects will be with them for the rest of their lives.

I think people are taking care as well. Only thing initially government did not announce the lockdown which could have curbed a bit and the spread would not have being at such rapid pace what is happening. I don't know if this is happening in your area but this is true where I am at. There are certain sectors in the society that are demanding that the economy be open rather than closed due to lockdown because of economic reasons. They argue now that COVID 19 is being - take note, "weaponized" and is being used by certain sectors of the government to maintain control and at the same time downplay the President's campaign against the virus. They said that the Health department in connivance with some opposition leaders are putting out exaggerated numbers so that people will continue to be angry at the President (take note not the government as a whole).

I am sure the government is trying to solve its economic problem after their country gets the Covid-19 effect, and I am sure that they will try to re-open the business in all sectors. Without doing that, their country will not have a chance to back to a stable economy, and they can see their people suffer because many of them lose their job.

We can hope that the recovery percentage can increase in the rest of this year, so in the next year, we can see the vaccine can releases, which can help to cure people. If that can happen, the recovery percentage will increase, the mortality will also decrease. But we still need to be careful if we are going out and make sure that we always wear a mask and follow the rule. I hope that people will realize that the government needs their support to prevent the infection.

In part, I agree with you. But what do you say to this: what is the overall percentage of the population who have had the virus? My answer is scanty. How many deaths will occur even if we take the decreased mortality rate but apply it to the majority of the world's population? My answer is tens of millions. Therefore, strict quarantine measures are inevitable.

I don't have any idea about the other countries. But here in India, there have been mass antigen tests in some of the cities, where it was found that close to 25% of the population possess COVID 19 antibodies. But officially, the infection rate is less than 1%. It seems as if millions more were infected, but since they were asymptomatic, these people were not included in the official count.

As far as I understand, these antibody tests are highly controversial. In addition, even 75% of the total population is a huge figure. Plus, I heard that even those who were sick with the virus can be re-infected. How to deal with this? I see everything here is very confusing, and the risk is very high, since the possibilities of this virus and, most importantly, the consequences for the bulk of people are still unclear.

I read that thread, getting sued is normal as they can't control the minds of the people, and I think they have already expected that kind of possibilities and have prepared for it, and if they follow all those required to be implemented by the authorities, there's nothing to fear if they get sued.

I more or less expected this to happen, it is obvious that they're going to be some people that are going to take advantage from the fact that casinos are open again but many people are still scared by the coronavirus and when you add the economic crisis that United States is facing and all the jobs that were lost it is natural that even those that have a job prefer to delay a potential vacation to Las Vegas because they do not know if they're going to be the next to lose their job.
