When we set custom trust list, Default Trust does not work anymore. No matter if you have included DefaultTrust in your trust list or not.
But in my opinion, if it would not be obsolete, it would be good. In case of my way of viewing the feedback-
I want to see the feedback on users profile from most of the DT members. What I want is- Default Trust with custom trust list. Imagine there are 26 DT members, among them I want to exclude user A, B, C, M. In that case, I have to include all the other 22 members in my trust list (current system) but if Default Trust was not obsolete for building custom trust, I would only be required to exclude the four who feedback I do not want to see. Would not it be a good idea?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It does work, it's just that the depth setting is not convenient when you have DefaultTrust plus other users in your list.

If you add only DefaultTrust and use default depth of 2 you will the same view as if you didn't have a custom trust list at all. Now if you add someone else to your trust list in addition to DefaultTrust then depth=2 is probably more than you want: you would be trusting that person, their inclusions, and inclusions of their inclusions, which may end up being quite horrible. A custom trust list should have depth=1 or depth=0 but then adding DefaultTrust won't be very useful with those depth settings.

However for the scenario that you described - excluding a few DT members - it should work. Have you tried it?

Code:
DefaultTrust
~Alice
~Bob
~Carol
~Mike

I did not directly try the method by only excluding. I have DefaultTrust on my list, have some users included there and have some users excluded. In that case, users who have not excluded, some (may be) of them are not showing as DT.
ryzaadit is a DT 2 member. See- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=874254;dt
But I can not see his feedback on game-protect although ryzaadit is not in my distrusted list.
It seems because of trust depth? I have used (1) as depth with a following example trust list.

Code:
DefaultTrust
A
B
~F
~M
Z

Apart of my trust list, I think I have seen LoyceV said DefaultTrust get obsolete once someone used custom trust list. May be I got him message wrong.

Some other member who are in DT1 minght excluded ryzaadit and that DT1 is in your trust list. And in this case for you ryzaadit also out of DT because of the custom trust list you have.

Say user A is in your trust list. If user a distrust ryzaadit then you will also see them not in the DT network with user A even though ryzaadit is on DT for default trust settings.

Correct. With a trust depth of 1, only DT1 is in effect. A trust depth of at least 2 is needed for DT2. (Higher trust depths are possible, but probably not practical - I don't even want to think about how many untrustworthy users are on DT3.)

Even with DT3 - it loads almost most of the users also, it takes a lot of loading time. I can not remember it correctly but once I was trying with higher number and my browser was not able to load the page or something :-D

Apart of my trust list, I think I have seen LoyceV said DefaultTrust get obsolete once someone used custom trust list. May be I got him message wrong.
If enough users create their own Trust list, DefaultTrust becomes less relevant. But even now only 4746 users have a custom Trust list (Nuked users aren't counted), and only a few users per week create a custom Trust list.

A custom trust list should have depth=1 or depth=0 but then adding DefaultTrust won't be very useful with those depth settings.
I have DefaultTrust on my Trust list, and use default Depth 2, because I still prefer to see most ratings as DefaultTrust. My custom additions only slightly change the ratings for most users.

Even with DT3 - it loads almost most of the users also, it takes a lot of loading time. I can not remember it correctly but once I was trying with higher number and my browser was not able to load the page or something :-D
The list on Depth 3 is too long, the forum gives a time out. See Personal Full Trust Depth viewer for all users for the effect of your custom Trust list (excluding DefaultTrust) on the different Trust Depths. Here's yours for example: Trust Depth list for: Royse777 (with data from a few weeks ago).

Yes. Depth 1 gives you this:

Code:
DefaultTrust
  DT1 members
A
  A's inclusions
B
  B's inclusions
~F
~M
Z
  Z's inclusions

(a bit more complicated than that due to the way exclusions override inclusions but the bottom line is - you're not getting DT2 with depth 1)
