Aside from ICO, do you have other means of sourcing your funds for this project? ICOs are almost not selling anymore as we have had a lot of crap/scam projects that screwed a lot of investors, big or small. So investors are not really interested in ICOs anymore. Also, IEOs are only good in big exchanges but their fate is turning to be an ICO project as well. If your ICO will not perform well, can you still push thru this platform without the funds collected from the community?
Hello CaVO32, we have become aware that many investors have invested in scams.

Over the last few years we have discussed all legal aspects for our ICO with our lawyers in Germany, and have decided an ICO is the best option to secure extra funding, and at the same time act as a useful and effective marketing tool.

Since we are already very advanced with the development of the project, we will put the platform online in full confidence that our financial resources will not be affected adversely by the ICO.

Please refer to the link below for our company confirmation

Best regards

This is good to know that you are not fully dependent with your ICO. It means that your platform will be launched no matter what happens to your ICO. By the way, I noticed that there are fresh accts here and praising your project. I hope these are not accounts from the team and will not resort to bumping your thread by creating new ones. Because it will make your project cheap. There are other ways to promote your project, maybe like sig campaign handled by known manager here.

For those who did not know - ClipX turns to be scam. After bounty has ended, they asked to pass KYC, while in the bounty topic is was mentioned that KYC is not required. After some people send their documents for verification, ClipX team deleted all their social media accounts and closed their webpage.

It is unclear why ClipX turned this scam. Have they collected the passport data of users in this way, so that they can then sell this data on the Black Market? I believe that many people are in great danger. Apparently it's not for nothing that ClipX was required to provide only international passport.

I already see many campaign that make different decision after campaign end, at least they pay someone job and that's the most important thing, but this is the worst ever. This kind of act, of course, really made everyone angry.

Identity theft is something that we're scared these days. The heartbeat increased from time to time realizing that the ones who submitted their documents. Receiving an email claiming that they've deleted our documents doesn't guarantee that they've actually delete it. Maybe they've stored all of them before sending a mass email to those who have submitted their KYC.

Even if their website and social media channels have shut down, their identities are still in ICOHolder: https://icoholder.com/en/clipx-31667

Only Toni Ora (CEO and founder) and Jacob Riege (technical engineer) found to have verified LinkedIn accounts. However, I don't see any previous activity and reactions from these two. And as for reverse image search on their pics, looks to me that they're the real ones as no other names are using these same images.

They claimed that they've registered in the District Court of Regensburg HRB 17069

I've searched their company's address and here it is: Wiener Straße 23a, 93055 Regensburg, Germany

It looks like the true company using this address is Force Net GmbH: https://www.forcenet.de/en/contact/

So it means they are using the address of a different company.

In one of their roadmaps, they claimed that "Confirmation of all legal clarification from our lawyers WINHELLER for the ICO."

Here are the list of lawyers: https://www.winheller.com/en/about-us/attorneys.html

However, I doubted that they did have lawyers from WINHELLER. We can only verify if one of them actually claimed about processing their legal documents for the ICO.

In their clipX channel, they state that they're going to refund all investors. This is their full statement:

"Hello Community, thank you for your support.

We have come to the decision that we will not take any further steps.
The clipX project will not list the token on a exchange and therefore will not send CXC Tokens.

To the investors:
Your Investments are being refunded shortly."

But let's try to monitor their smart contract to see if they did refund.

Dont you have any github source? Based on this announcement I can concur that this is almost similar to previously launched project.

Why do you need so much money? I mean 58m USD for soft cap? I think thats too much for a starter. You should try to generate fund first via private investors and just open a public sale for the remaining you need. For me thats a lot of money and considering your objective its not that much needed a lot of funds to begin with.
