Great and more adoption will be done in this year, IMO. By developing more in Lighting network of crypto/Bitcoin will be the alpha of crypto for adopting more by the centralized gaint company. As we need to do micropayments to buy someting , so i think crypto lovers also need to use the lighting network more for this. It's a step of Giant for cryptos to be largely adopted by those big players in the market. But let's think about:
- Covid crisis and the urgent need for a cashless system so those big campagnies can continue progress of their businesses.
- Centralised cryptocurrencies that are mainly controlled by one or more entity which can limit this adoption to just one or two crytos. In the same field, i may think about facebook coin called Libra which is not a cryptocurrency rather than a currency adopted by many giant campanies, which i can also guess it will orient users to adopt its kind.

In a wolrd of centralised governments, the essential element to note that cryptos are widely adopted is when it is legalised by Govs so people who start using it won't find themselves breacking rules of the country where they live. Until that will happen, we can't yet admit that cryptos are ADOPTED widely .

I was thinking what all cryptocurrency they are planning to accept and there is nothing in the article you posted about the coins they will be accepting because cryptocurrency is a broader term and every shit coins to tokens can be termed as a cryptocurrency and it would be better if they accept top coins in the market.

Yes, it got more attention since Coca-cola is very popular but it is not the Main headquarters that is located at United States is doing this partnership. But still, Coca-Cola Amatil making it happen is a great achievement for the crypto community. It seems you are correct upon reading the blog I also search some in google looks like they can only use the Sylo Smart Wallet to interact with those vending machines, I have encountered this project before but it seems they have poor reviews on playstore. I have a chat on their admin in telegram they said KYC is not required to use the wallet.

It is actually a really good news, but the article doesn't mention which coin will be used (or i missed it. Just skimmed through it when it started to talk about the virus). I doubt it is going to be bitcoin. Would be stupid to wait for like 3-5 mins (and more than an hour during heavy load or pay ridiculous fee) in front of the vending machine for just a soda.
Highly likely they are going to use some altcoin.

That's a good one for these companies to get involve into cryptocurrency is a giant step to global adoption, with this adoption, a new world of cashless policy will be recreated through cryptocurrency. Is centrapay the same project that had an ico like 2 3 years back but it was charged by some US authorities and perhaps it was closed down i am not sure but the name is exactly the same.
Regarding the acceptance of crypto, i think market is on the move and now we should regularly hear such news and no doubt we are slowly moving towards mass adoption.
