Hi all, we've been working for the past few months to create BitFolio (longer explainer on Medium), a paper trading platform that lets anyone be a signals service. What we mean by that is as you build your live track record, other people are able to see its gains and can subscribe to its live updates for a monthly fee that you set. We would love your feedback!

Whether you are a crypto educator looking to expand your revenue channels, a professional trader who wants access to a deeper pool of trade ideas, or a hobbyist who wants to see how their portfolio would stack up in the real world, BitFolio has something for you. We are open for a semi-public beta test now, if you use the code "BitcointalkFriends" (caps sensitive, no quotes) at signup you will have full platform access.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Easy - you run your simulated portfolio however you want. Other people will be able to see the performance but not the details of the trades. If they like what they see, they can pay a monthly subscription fee to receive live updates from you. The better your track record is, the higher the price you can charge.

Looks like a nice idea, I'd be interested in subscribing to others when that becomes available (as I don't have the time to do this sort of thing myself)... How's your competition, I'm not sure if there's much in this space already?

Also are you going to let the signallers pick their fee or do you give them a predetermined one (or is this too early to say)?

Hmm, this is more like project development area material.

I've read the article, you're basically something more or like tradelize and a lot like it, traders publish their moves, they can choose to hide their trades before a paywall, you take 20% commission the rest goes to the trader.
You're going to have a hard time getting both the traders and the ones paying for their advice, platforms like this have increased a lot lately but good luck with it!

I suck at trading and I even suck on picking who to follow for advice  Cheesy, so I think I will pass.
Reminds me how I've chosen to follow a racing tipster just from the point he missed 28 out of 30 predictions.

Thank you! The signallers set their own fee, which they receive 100% of (our platform markup is added in the form of a premium that the consumer pays).

There are other "mirror trading" platforms that even let you connect to an exchange, but BitFolio is only notifications meaning the trader has full decisioning power for how they want to use the updates. Maybe they want to mirror a trader completely, or maybe they want to subscribe to 10 different portfolios and weight the updates to make a mega-strategy of their own. There has never been a more exciting time to be a trader!

Sorry, I didn't see that forum section! And thanks for reading the article. Nobody said it would be easy Grin but we saw the fundamental problem that lots of educators are currently using some combination of Telegram, Twitter, and PayPal to essentially do the same thing. We want to create a trustable third-party where the trades can be verified, while serving as a discovery channel for people just starting to dip their toes into crypto. Growing the adoption pie and whatnot  Smiley

Haha yeah everyone gets burnt with certain types of trading.

Cfd trading with mismanagement (and its often hard to manage) is going to liquidate someone every time. High risk stuff should really be done with a fraction of funds on the exchange as a small fraction of your portfolio deposited and a lot of people can't do that...

A lot of the time it's hard to lose with alts if you have a signaller that's been doing it for a while and you can normally look at their history and start to work out how they make their signals...

If they're just picking key resistance and support levels then it's good enougb for me to know it'll get back up there at some point.
