When will Bitcoin mining ever stop, or will it just get harder?

Hard to predict what will happen, but so far, the incentives mechanism has worked. Bitcoin mined with a block will get smaller, but the price increase has still made it highly profitable for miners, plus the fees from transactions helps subsidize that cost. Eventually, mining difficulty should reach a sort of equilibrium with incentives and market price.

It’s at least two more halvings (7 years away) to see where we stand here.

What do you think?

What kind of cryptocurrency wallets would allow to buy/sell and withdraw currency at Crypto ATM?

Any decent Bitcoin wallet with a Bitcoin address or QR code should allow you to use Bitcoin as you would normally! Even centralized wallet addresses should work, though you should check with the laws of that service before trying out.

To be perfectly safe, use your own wallet, an open-source client like Bitamp or Electrum would work perfectly fine at a Bitcoin ATM!

This is the first time to used Bitamp wallet via mobile browser. Some feature still not working like lightning bitcoin and exchange, Is this available in Web browser?

The website design is very cool and it's very easy to create account(almost instant). I just notice that the private key format is different to the regular private key, Can I import it on different wallet such as electrum and other wallet?

I hope that you have a mobile wallet available in playstore and appstore. Your wallet is very solid, One private key already contains 3 different wallet type (legacy, SegWit and SegWit native). I might use this once you have a mobile apps.  Wink

+1 I also looking forward to see available mobile application in playstore. because it is more convenient to use when you do not need to login repeatedly and all you have to do is to save your private key.

I also like the article you have in your website explaining about bitcoin and what exchange to use when buying Bitcoin .

I've been using the Bitamp wallet more and more lately and it's definitely been growing on me. Just the fact that I can choose all types of receiving addresses is a huge deal for me as some will only let you send to a Legacy address while dealing with people bech32 is usually preferred. UI is great too, perhaps you could add a darkmode though?  Grin

Since you personally endorse it then I will give it a try for sure since Im not yet using it I will ask first if Is there any option in bitamp to send to multiple bitcoin addresses in one single transaction?

Question for Bitamp team: Do you plan to add manual fee option for sending Bitcoin?
I know there are now three options, priority, regular and slow, but I prefer to have my fees set to manual sometimes on weekends.

We were asked on Quora: How can I restore my previous Bitcoin wallets? I had a lot of accounts. is there any way to find all of them?

All the answers provided are right (you simply restore the seed or private key at most Bitcoin wallets, Bitamp supports that, for example, and you have your wallet as before).

Just a quick note, in case there is confusion, you can also have many addresses in a single wallet, virtually unlimited for regular use. You don’t always have to have a new wallet for every new transaction you make.

Tried to create an account and everything went well and it's very easy to do, I see there are some features in Bitamp such as lightning and exchange that are not working yet, hopefully this feature can be released soon, waiting for Bitamp there is also a mobile app version. Whether Bitamp support to send to multiple addresses?

I just tried to create an account from BitAmp and it's quite easy to choose kinci with our wishes private key or seed phrase but I have never made a transaction but will definitely try it and what about the speed of the transaction rate.
Btw like Bitamp doesn't support Segwit addresses? because I think a lot of people use it especially in the Hhampuz signature.

Bitamp gives you the option to use Legacy, SegWit AND bech32 addresses. For whatever purpose you need Smiley

Btw like Bitamp doesn't support Segwit addresses? because I think a lot of people use it especially in the Hhampuz signature.

Please let me chance to show my past post to help you out.
With Bitamp wallet, from a single private key, you can have three options to get 3 types of receiving address list, for: standard(1xx), segwit (bxx), and P2SH (3xx). You can choose which types of address you want to use, from the Overview tab or from the Addresses tab. Choose it from the dropdown menu.

The wallet supports change address too.

Additionally, you can import BTC address you get from Bitamp to other wallets, such as Electrum.

On Bitamp, with each receiving address, you will have the key icon, click on it to get private key for that specific address.
Below is an example for you. You should never disclose your private key like that.

On Electrum, click on File > New/ Restore > Import Bitcoin addresses or private key:
- If you copy and paste your BTC address from Bitamp, you will get an imported, watching only on Electrum.
- If you copy and paste your private key from Bitamp, you will get an imported wallet on Electrum.
Name your wallet file and set up a good password on Electrum when you import it.

When I was looking for a site for creating a bech32 wallet, I did not find a well-designed and convenient site, but I was lucky to see this service on this forum. Using the Bitamp wallet is quite convenient and safe. I wrote my personal and unbiased opinion, since I myself use the Bitamp wallet.

I didn't pay much attention to it, it turns out that there are really 3 types of wallet available, Grin
I also like how the UI looks and is simple and easy to load so I thought I would turn to Bitamp for the first time.
If the feedback from Hhampuz is what I will follow.
Honestly Bitamp is a good wallet address.  Wink

What's the safest crypto?

Probably Bitcoin, and not for a single reason. It’s arguably too big too fail now. Governments can’t stop it. Hackers can’t crack it, quantum computers won’t get near for many years, and it’s also got states and pension funds and big institutions all backing it now. It’s here to stay, and that’s as safe as it gets for crypto!

Agree?

I sent crypto to the wrong address. What can I do?

Unfortunately, not much you can do. Crypto transactions are irreversible, at least in the case of Bitcoin. The only way to get it back is to ask the owner of that address to return it to you.

In this case, if it's a centralized exchange, you can open a support ticket and ask nicely. No guarantees though!

If still 0 confirmation and followed the RBF feature, we can cancel the transaction by creating a new higher fee in Electrum wallet and the fund will back to your address.

I know Bitamp doesn't have an RBF feature, maybe next time. I also waiting for LN and passphrase Option, when?.

Wink

It's actually just 1 wallet, but you can access all 3 types of supported Bitcoin addresses, as pointed out above:)

We're very happy you like the wallet, and a note to all comments above, we always pass on your notes to our devs, we hope you like what you're seeing so far, enjoy!

Very good so far, if I may make an "out there" suggestion it would be.. Can you make it so we can login to the wallet using a master password? I understand the security point of view with how you currently do it but it would be nice if I at least could access my wallet in "view mode" using a password rather than needing the seed, privkey or file.

Completely fine if this is not something you want to do though and I'd understand it too! Just for us lazy people  Grin
